only thing i have ever ordered from tesco entertainment are really really good deals i have seen on here.

i am yet to see one of them drop through my letterbox.

but u might get lucky this time. as going by the reviews, this is about the right price for this game.

Well it is quite an old game now, and other online retailers are selling it for around £8 so i doubt it's a misprice.

Good deal. Don't forget about cashback!

Nice price, shame its a terrible game

i took a chance on the cheap pink floyd cds and it paid off.....

Remember that PES 2009 £1.50 Price? I received mine so I think this'll go down well too lol

Anyway, does anyone know if this game is any good?

I had a £5 voucher which they gave me for a misprice that was cancelled, so cost 60p and after 8% quidco = 15.2p! Bargain!

I tried it on the PC, didn't think much of it. But this will be good for a present for my fiancee's cousin.

I feel I may have been blind and a little dumb here, as I searched but could not find Tesco Entertainment under Quidco?

Reviews suggest not; demo wasn't that great to be honest - but for a fiver and a bit of shrapnel, who's to complain.

Good price, very average game though.

Search for tesco, click on tesco and then it says the %s per what part of their website.

Damn - I hated Oblivion :x

I just might like this carp. Had £10 sitting in the account that has been there for ages.
So ordered one.

Cheers, Hot.

I hate this old fashioned belief that computer games are for kids. Back in the SNES days you might have had a case, but with today's technology it is on par with film, tv, literature etc in terms of entertainment and overall production values. Companies spend millions making games, which is one of the fastest growing markets, which incidentally was also one of few industries that had consistent sales throughout the recession. I can remember reading an article in the Telegraph by a middle aged woman who was lamenting that her child spent too much time killing stuff on computer games. I also recall that she used the term "plik plok" to describe the audio. What planet are these morons living on? Its even worse when most of these proles bash computer games but then change the conversation to something of lesser intellectual value, chiefly thickotainment heavyweights such as the X Factor or Coronation Street. The pot is being racist towards the kettle.

BAFTA's for computer games just proves that its not for boys !!!

Uncharted 2 is better than most hollywood films that come along !

The previous two posters are 100% right. The games industry is huge and the games themselves are highly sophisticated. Hollywood voice acting, movie-style direction, stunning visuals, incredible sound effects, etc.

This game is underated. I enjoyed the open world aspect, the huge vistas, the collecting of oil drums and the Mad Max style vehicles. This is a relaxing game for when you fancy a virtual drive through some striking landscapes.

I agree with what you have said, but not this! My SNES still gets loads of play time, and most of the games are way too hard for kids - even when I was one and games were generally that hard. Super Smash TV and Super Probotector off the top of my head probably were not considered kids games at the time (admittedly I owned both, and I was 6:-D but still)

That quote you were replying to seems to have mysteriously disappeared.

Perhaps because it's the most moronic thing to be posted on this forum since that flying car thing for thirty grand.

Thought the demo was rubbish. Was really lookign forward to it too after seeing the dev videos and such and thought it would be similar to Motorstorm but in a wider environment (no Motorstorm for the 360 owners)

Turned out to be a load of bland nonsense. So called performance offroaders just feel like the clutch is slipping when you hit a hill :?

Hell yeah, you give one of today's kids a 90's game, and watch them cry in frustration.

Bloody kids of today, with their memory cards and built-in hard drives and battery back-ups and internet strategy guides... don't even know they're born. What chance would they have had, having to start from the beginning every time they played? Writing 60-odd letter passcodes into the back of the instruction book (just one wrong letter and your "save game" is gone forever') and waiting for the computer magazines to publish the cheats for games instead of being able to look them up on the net...

Unless it was a Konami game, then it was just Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, A,B, Select, Start...

By the way, Fuel's crap.

True but now look what we have. The current trend of all those women and parents buying the wii and saying its so good for exercise - how about a gym and proper exercise?! Nothing wrong at all with going to the gym for an hour an evening them coming home and sitting and destroying some people online at (insert game) yet now we're getting everything motion controlled. I dont want it!

EDIT: Oh and come off it old games are stupid with the 'no save'. I understand why but now we dont have any limitations as such so whats wrong with saved games?! Sonic via emulation with savestate gamesaves cannot be beaten.

What on earth where you expecting, the very fact that it was published by none other than Codedisasters should have given you a clue

Well worth it for the money in my opinion reviews here: metacritic.com/gam…uel

It was a statement borne of satirical wit and humour...

I didn't like the demo... And I hear its terrible.. But its £5.60... Thats the price of 2 pints of beer..

I have payed more for basic PSN games which get a few hours play at best.. So even if this is remotely entertaining for a few hours, its got to be worth a punt.. So I ordered it.. Thanks for the tip...

You are dead right. This was reviewed as a £40 game. If it had been released on PSN for a £5er I reckon the reviews would have been somewhat different. Saying that if its as bad as people say I might just get 2 pints of lager instead

EDIT
Is the demo still about, and are there trophies??

EDIT 2 - answered my own question

Trophy list:

Ordered worth a punt!

Yeah I'm sure the demo is still available, although I haven't tried it myself. Might give it a blast tonight. Glad some people are benefiting from this deal apart from myself.

Couldnt agree more... Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 took more money on its first week than any film, book or any other entertainment release in history...

WRXIceman - Are you a scooby driver by and chance? (With a name like that I mean)

Nick

Well I don't like lager or beer so I bought it!
