I know this was posted very similar earlier - but the code stopped working for a couple of days - it's working again now.

Fujifilm currently have an offer on a refurbished Finepix HS10 which is a beast of a camera, and is ideal for those looking to take the plunge to a DSLR but want a bridge camera to begin with.

This camera is priced at upto £400 in some places and at around £275-£300 best price in most places that have stock.

PS they have 12mth warranty too

Fuji are offering a refurbished FinePix HS10 camera (normally £299.99) plus throwing in a Free Premium case (normally £29.99) as one bundle.

Simply add the item to your basket and use the promotion code P0109HS at the checkout to receive your discount! Comes up at £234.98 incl delivery - I've ordered one.

so tempted..!

Absolute steal at that price. I bought one new at the beginning of summer after saving for the last 12 months or so while I decided what to go for. Absolutely no regrets other than the fact this deal wasn't about then.

Worth every penny and I plan on extending the warranty at some stage as I expect to have it for a few years at least.

Nice spot OP.

cant get the deal for 234.98 ?

Good spot eye, pretty close but don't forget another £7 shipping - still a bit of a bargain @ £288 all inc

and then say £15 for a case

Makes it £303 (nearly £70 more)

You can pay to extend the warranty with Fuji however it's unlikely I would keep it for 5 years so I'm personally not too disappointed I missed that offer :-) might still be good for others

I got a dispatch email earlier on today! Can't wait to see it!lol..thank you so much for this!!!! xx

OP, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

I ordered the camera this morning with 10% off code - was hoping to get the free case as well but the stupid code wouldn't work with the free case offer so it was one or the other.... went for just the 10% off in the end with no free case and only "standard delivery". So would have cost me £256 ish.

Saw your post above and have now cancelled old order and re-ordered with free case and its still costing me less

Now costing me £240 with free case AND next day delivery...

Well chuffed. Cheers again. H+R added.

Many thanks wanted to replace my S5500 was going to get the S2500HD but that did not have the RAW saving or manual focus.I found your post and have ordered with the code all seemed OK, how do they manage to make a lens for that price sure it will be a compromise but given the choice of a dslr with standard lens and this what can I say just make sure you use a tripod.Hot from me

The code is still working - seems a very good deal this. I had a Fuji refurb before and was very pleased, and of course you now get a 12mth warranty.

Fuji have reduced the price of the HS10 refurb + free case to £259.99 but the promotion code does not now work. Code P258BTCC467 takes off the postage cost. Anyone got a better code?

For those who have one of these cameras and would like a full printed manual ring Fuji Customer Services. I have recently received one from them free of charge, presumably they will provide these while they have stock.

Also so tempting, but I'm sure my wifes reaction will be;

a) it's £235
b) we have a camera (Lumix TZ65)

Did you buy the tz65 when it was on offer in currys?

looks like Fuji still haven't sorted their low light issues

I used to be a Fuji owner, but moved over to Canon DSLR and never looked back as it's a different class

pay 20% more for a brand new product with 5 times more warranty i would say that is worth it.

Toonarmani - not really a fair comparison DSLR vs non-DSLR though

I have a Fuji DSLR (S5 Pro) and I wouldn't change it for anything other than a FF camera, the Dynamic Range which is still class leading (13.5 stops) makes for lovely slide-like photos - nearest I've got to Film looking pictures (I had a Nikon and Canon DSLR previously)

re the HS10 - anyone spotted its £255 from Amazon brand new ?

If only the quality was as good as the specs.

I like the fuji DSLRs from what i've seen of them.

I have a Fuji Finepix S9600 which I've been highly delighted with so far. Would I notice a significant difference upgrading to this model?

For the spec of camera this seems cheap. I think I will give it a go. 30 times optical zoom 10mp. 1080p video. Alot of camera for the money.

Forgive me but where did I compare the 2?

I said that I previously had a Fuji (which suffered from low light issues like this one) .... now have a Canon DSLR.

The 2 are poles apart, they are different camera types .. different costs .. DSLR requires a variety of lenses etc. so you cannot compare the 2.

whoosh

I got a case for a similar looking fujifilm finepix camera on ebay for £6, fits perfectly!!

Edited by: "Anjirocks" 28th Oct 2010

Silly Question I know but can this also be used a decent video camera?

Erm ... this camera is only £250 on Pixmania brand new... I think i'd result in that being a better option than a refurb!

LOL

Whats a good memory card for this ?

Looking at the reviews on Amazon it does have some noise from focusing and even from the manual zoom - I suggest you watch some videos taken with this camera on you tube to judge for yourself.
