I like it, seems a good camera for the price...very tempted indeed.

This looks just like the camera I use for work every day except mine must be an older model with 10.2MP, It's ok but it has developed a really annoying habit of resetting itself when it's turned off, and for work I need to use the lowest resolution and it keeps jumping back to 10MP. Takes decent pictures and has a nice size screen, no viewfinder. There's no way it was worth £139.99 though and imo the styling is quite plain and uninteresting.

Takes AA batteries too, at £139.99 this is surprising. And after a while the battery cover slides open in my pocket sometimes which p!sses me off.

It really is just a point and shoot as well, there may be some manual settings you can do but you'll have to wade through the menu system to alter anything as there is no dial like most cameras have.

Yes this hasn't really been that price (except to be able to claim it's been reduced by such a large amount). It's generally been less than £60 most places (Amazon £56 at present). This is a few quid cheaper though but then it's a basic 3x zoom camera and you shouldn't be paying any more for such a camera.

Because it was never £140 in the first place, Comet priced i high for a couple of weeks and then sell it as a sale item

As also mentioned £56 at Amazon and £60 elsewhere so in reality its a £6 saving at most £10 not a £90 saving

AA powered, so not really such a bargain (even if you don't mind AA). Shell out the other £11 for the Panasonic posted today - much better value.
