Great price for this.

When weighing up the camera to buy this was a close second to the panasonic FZ38 that I bought.

Heat added.

Someone let me know if they see the Sony HX100V for this price!

Fuji Shop refurbs are currently out of stock, and heard a few bad reviews about camerabox, just my opinion though [/ There has been comments made about Camerabox before, but as always you have to compare price and service and decide for yourself. I have not bought from Camerabox but I have bought twice from Fuji Shop (most recent an S2500HD in January). The refurbs appear to be new (probably just open box) with all accessories in a box printed refurb and with an illustrated model label. Availability of Fuji Shop refurb. models varies, its best to check daily and sign up for emails to get discount codes.

Anyone know how this camera compares to the fuji s4000 in terms of quality as specs seem similar?

Do yourself a favour and stump up the extra cash for one of the Nikon D3000 deals going round on here at the moment. Far better quality pictures at the expense of gimmiky features and ridiculous zoom.

I have this camera, brought it for about £250 2 weeks ago at Argos and its amazing.

Was looking at this the other day. Currently have an S7000, still working as well as the day I bought it (~5yrs ago).

I quite fancy the super zoom, but am unsure whether the actual internal tech (with the exception of the mp's) would be a decent improvement over the S7000?

Decisions decisions.....

Now £219.95, same price in Jessops also.

Quidco through Jessops takes it down a further £8.80 to £211.15

Does that mean it's ridiculous to buy a telephoto lens for the D3000? No one is going to argue that the DSLR is going to superior in terms of PQ, low light performance etc. but for the extra £70 it will cost you are getting a basic 18-55 kit lens and no video recording capability. It's not really an alternative unless you only want to take stills.

Have a look at some of the example pictures that people have achieved with this camera; it's no DSLR but I think it's abilities will surprise you.
