Been this price a couple of weeks.

Great camera, I got a refurb (looked brand new to me) direct from Fuji for £206, but think the code has expired. Pretty sure this is the cheapest around for a brand new one.

Only minus points are the noise of the auto focus when recording video, and the fact you can only record 15 minutes of video at a time (legal requirement for a still cameraI think).
But on the stills side it's great!

Its been fluctuating in price for the past few weeks, never a stable price on Amazon. The refurbs at Fuji are out of stock at the moment, which I wanted to get with a code and the extra warranty. This may be the next best thing for me

How are you finding the camera in all Jukkie? I've had a few Fujis now S5700, S5800, S1500, S9600 plus a couple of others each one been good to me, still no expert though.

To be honest, I haven't had a bridge camera since I sold my Sony DSC-F717 many years ago, haha. So I have nothing recent to judge it against.
From it's use so far, I've found it very easy to use, and the pictures have been excellent (including indoor shots, which I've found disapointing in other cameras in the past) .
I've yet to get into all the DSL-like settings, as all the pre-Christmas drinking is making it impossible to concentrate on something like this :p.

All the reviews I've read have been very positive, so for the price I think it's superb value.

£246.98 including delivery, and the 2 year warranty is only for compact cameras, which this is not...

As for 'more megapixels', the HS10 has a much better sensor, while the resolution may be a little lower, it will have less noise (especially in low light).
The image quality on the HS10 will be better all round.
