Cold, a quick view at the fuji website shows that this is indistinguishable from the 1800 which is £159 at dixons.

1850 is only sold at comet, with a massively inflated RRP, so this looks like a retailer specific model

I wouldn't recommend this if the main part of your decision is the HD video recording. The video recording on the finepix series is a bit poor, my s1500 is not too bad but you can hear the focus noise constantly and another model the s1730 has a very loud continuous hiss and judging from a few youtube videos the s1800/1850 suffers from the same hiss.

But these cameras take fantastic stills shots, and the optical zoom on the lenses are great.
