This was on before. As much as I wish it worked, it wont. You cannot get the two discounts together

Does look a very nice camera.

But, according to the Cashback Terms & Conditions:

Part 2.12 states:

This promotion cannot be redeemed in conjunction with
any other promotion whatsoever.

I would say that using the above promo code to reduce the price from £329.99 to £255 could easily render the cashback claim invalid.

Is this a 'bridge' camera? Looking to get a DSLR for my son sub £300.

He'll be very disappointed with this one. It's not a DSLR, although better than a typical "bridge" camera.

It's a bridge camera but a very good one that has most of the features you'd want with a DSLR.

]Here's a picture I took (with one) from the Pit at the O2 when I was asked to do a review of UB40s gig there.

The advantage this has over the typical DSLR is that to get this sort of zoom lens, you'd add the same price again so would blow your budget.

It's a compromise, at the end of the day it depends why your son wants a DSLR and if second hand would do for you to keep under your budget.

Ta - but that's a cracking pic.

To all you doubters- the cashback offer has now been extended until the end of Jan 2010. The discount code only gets the price to £265 at present, but with that extra £50 cashback this is still a fantastic deal.

I am holding in my grubby hands a cheque from fujifilm for £50, having posted the offer before Christmas and had similar negative 'you won't get cashback' replies.

The camera is great.

So; if you wish to participate; buy a NEW s200exr camera on line, add the discount code, then make sure you print off the vat invoice offered (which says nothing about any discount, just gives the price you paid) at the time of ordering.

Print off the cashback form (link on 'specifications' tab of s200exr) - don't worry about it saying dec 09 as the page you reach confirms the offer has been extended.

Send off receipt and form (when you have got camera serial number) and wait for the cheque to arrive.

Simples...

But will you get the £50 cash back....

'I am holding in my grubby hands a cheque from fujifilm for £50...'

Worked for me.

I just used the voucher code above and I got 10% off a camera I just ordered so it's still working to some degree, cheers!

Just read that it gives 10% off refurbs so it may still give 35% off new ones!
