3-year guarantee makes this an excellent deal!!!

Tempted since refurbishment price is currently only £40 less from Fuj, see other HUKD post. But wondering if this will be cheaper in January sales?

looks a good price - lens is much bigger than that straight on picture makes it look though

This vs RX100?

If you plan on doing any video then the RX100 but if it's only photos then Fuji are highly regarded as having the best colours - especially if you don't want to work with RAWs and want straight out of camera JPEGs.

The RX100 has a much smaller 1" sensor compared to the Fuji's APS-C sensor which means less depth of field/bokeh (background blur) if you care about things like that although it has in body image stabilisation. OTOH the RX100 is much more pocketable and I would say it's a real compact camera whereas this is only compact when compared to DSLRs, especially with the 16-50mm plastic fantastic lens.

Thank you for the detailed explanation. This is only going to be for family holiday photos etc whenever we want something better than our phone which will definitely include videos. Think I’ll stick with the RX100, much easier to take around

For family vacations I would recommend the RX100, just because it's smaller, lighter and should focus faster and is therefore more versatile. I'd say the X-A10 is more for someone who's interested in getting into photography as a hobby where they plan to eventually upgrade to a better lens and a better body. It's more like a starting step.

It’s quite light though, good lens also.

Yea I think I made the right decision getting the RX100. While I am interested in photography, I think I’d rather get a DSLR but seeing as this camera is for the parents when we go on holiday, the RX100 is much better and easier to cart around

Nice, I do like these cameras that have the Leica Rangefinder styling. Can't stand the big clumsy DSLRs.
