This camera was £449 on Amazon for a single kit a couple of weeks ago. Just seen on John Lewis a twin kit for the same price with the bonus of a 2 year warranty.

Are these any good? I used to have a bog standard canon dslr, but with little kids it was usually easier to just grab my phone than get all the kit out. Just want something that doesn't take up loads of room, but takes decent photos.

I was looking at the xt20. At Currys it's £629, with £90 cashback from Fujifilm and potential 15% cashback @ Quidco, so (assuming cashback honoured) would be roughly the same price

X-T20 is a far higher quality camera. The film simulations on that will be better too because it has the xtrans sensor. This has a bayer sensor. X-t20 also has a optical viewfinder. This doesn’t .

This is a good camera, just be aware of it’s limitations.
I use x-t2. Moved from Nikon, largely instigated by having children and no time to edit RAW files or space to carry large, heavy camera and lenses.

After setting the jpeg modes to my taste, the straight out of the camera jpegs are amazing.

Electronic viewfinder. But yeah, the XT-20 is an awesome camera

I have no idea regarding this particular model but I can say I bought a Sony A6000 for £260 brand new and payed another £350 for 2 Sigma Art lenses - 19mm and 60mm. You may find better deals even SH. This decision was based after tens of hours of research and professional advice. I can say it blows out of the water some really good Nikon cameras such as D5500 or similar but being much less bulkier.

Good luck

'cool story bro'
Great deal this. The XC50-230 is a great quality lens even if considered a kit lens.
