I live my one, makes me love photography every time I use it. Great raw files with awesome dynamic range.

New one is virtually identical after the update. May as well get the original with the excellent 18-55. This isn't just a kit lens.

my thought exactly.
Wex are also offering a extra £80 Bonus on a trade until the end of the month. There's a list on their website. If your old camera is listed they will offer you the going rate, plus an extra £80 on top.

good points, just want people to know what is going on. I chose to get mine without lens and get a prime separately.
I've got an X-M1 and like it very much.
I still think this is a little steep for what it is.

There's a review of the two here, if you take the lens out of the equation the price difference is about £50. When the review was written the X-E2 was twice the price of the X-M1. With the new firmware it should be pretty much the same as the new X-E2S

My X-M1 kit cost me 150 quid so I'm not really comparing like with like price wise, although the sensor and image quality are exactly the same on both cameras.
I've used an e2 for a weekend and it's a nice camera, not too keen on the 'Fuji' colour replication for landscape photography either, it's a decent portrait camera though...
AF isn't much use for moving subjects either.
I wouldn't pay 550 for it... I also think the Fuji lenses are massively overpriced.
Just my opinion.

Just checked a couple of Fuji lens prices they seem reasonably priced compared to others: -
Fuji 10-24 f4 = £679, Nikon = £834 Sony = £993
Fuji 24-70 f2.8 = £698, Nikon £1189, Sony (f4 only ) = £757.
The new firmware update should make significant improvements to the AF speed but not sure that any mirrorless will come close to a D-SLR in this respect.

Tbf the Fujinon XF lenses are spectacularly good... I'm thinking about getting another 10-24.
