Fujifilm X-M1 Camera with 16-50 Kit Lens for £429.99. You can claim £100 cashback from Fujifilm and get £100 credit to use on Amazon.co.uk. which effectively reduces the price to £229.

These were £529 a few weeks ago. Probably the best APS-C mirrorless camera deal right now. If you compare similar cameras, the Sony NEX5t is £500, Olympus EP-5L around £400, even the vastly inferior Fujifilm X20 (fixed lens, tiny sensor) sells for £359.99.

Fujiffilm X-M1 Camera Features:
* 16.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor (same sensor as X-Pro1/X-E1)
* Hi-speed EXR Processor II
* Compact and lightweight body (half the size of an SLR)
* Start-up time of 0.5secs (*1), shutter lag of 0.05secs and a maximum burst speed of 5.6fps (max. 30 frames (*2))
* Tiltable 3-inch LCD (920K dot high definition)

BEWARE: silver is out of stock from Amazon now and the link takes you to a third party. You will NOT get amazon cashback and possibly not the Fuji cashback from 3rd party.

What should it be compared too if not it's competition?!

Amazing price and heat. Black version is still £429.99 typical no sense Amazon pricing

this was the price for the silver?

price is 429 now.

Just to update the camera is now £429.99 in Black or Silver and £499.99 in Brown. You can then claim £100.00 cashback from Fujifilm and a £100.00 credit from Amazon. STONKING DEAL IMHO!

Price fluctuates quite a bit. The lowest I saw was £379, lasted for a about 5 minutes.

just check and it was 429.99 for silver and black, brown is 499.

It went back to 429 when I had it in my basket.

Would this be valid for Amazon warehouse too?

I don't think so, check the terms and approved sellers: fujicashback.co.uk/

I've just claimed the difference back from when i ordered at £469.

I got this deal when it was £529 with the 200 worth of cash back. Amazon have been refunding me every time the price dropped so I have got the same deal in effect.

the quality of the sensor is incredibly good, go have a look at dpReview and see how well it compares to even 5d miii . the only thing is that being so small the ergonomics are a little off for my big hands.

At £229 no other camera even comes close to the quality of this.

How did you wangle that? I just tried chat and got no joy.

hi guys would this be better than a nex3?

want it for family memories really as I keep using my mobile and that's a waste of time.

indoor shooting is frequent and of course days out.

currently use a Olympus xz1 compact but looking for something better at quick shots and some video.

cheers

Here's some useful info that i posted in my deal thread when it was £469

Amazon credit is credited to your account on despatch (I've had mine)
Amazon credit has to be spent by 16th February and is only valid on Amazon purchases, not 3rd party.
Cashback Claims to fuji have to be in 2 weeks after purchase and before February 14th

I also managed to get 39.01 back via amazon chat.

Did anyone manage to buy it at the 379 mentioned earlier in the comments, amazon chat man said it was never that low?

camera is well worth the money, only looses to the x100s/xe2 sensor on the focusing side, but that price is the best bang for buck you will ever find. wish i hadn't paid £1100 for my x100s back in March.

It was Amazon selling it, not a third party. I was editing the deal post and literally saw price going up from £379 to £389 to £399, so I had to revise it several times. After the deal was posted it went up again to £429.

Absolutely.
Doing 2 cameras in 1 purchase is a very unwise thing to do and will end in misery!

Have no idea, I know doing 2 products in 1 purchase as far as the amazon terms goes is no no.

If you want to make sure, just use someone else payment card and address for delivery and give them the money etc.

Forgot it was on! 20 minutes in they'd all gone. Gutted to be honest mate, really wanted one too.

... Just checked that Nikon D5200 lightning deal, they'd all gone in less than a minute! it was only £50 off! People are insane.

I know the Nikon D5200 deal was/is awful. Got one in the basket...had 4 browsers open but got lazy when saw the price and just added one to basket, thing is I think people just jumped on it without looking at price...they'll all be available again in 20 minutes or so

I know, the 55210 was a superb price as opposed to the Nikon... If you wanna sell me one of your extra lenses at whatever the going rate is, give me a shout.

Only got 1 mate, wasn't really that sure on the value as there's people selling for £165 delivered with UK warranty on ebay so didn't really see the virtue in getting more than 1.

Ah right. Well, enjoy.

Sorry dude, there's a possibility I may not use mine, I'll let you know when it arrives, will be sealed new. Should be here tuesday and can have for price paid if I've started worrying about spending too much money by then.

haha! I stopped worrying about how much I'd spent in November... I'm really not looking forward to my next bank statement though.
I just can't resist a bargain, think I have a problem!
Am considering this Fuji now..! Getting rid of everything else except my NEX-7 and the G6.
