Very good deal

What free lens?

What free lens?

XC16-50mm and XF27mm

Thanks

Surely I doubt this deal is worth more than £500 at the most?? Can someone please confirm if this is a good deal?

No viewfinder

The XC50-230mm is about £260, the XF-27 is about £300, so even if you can pick up the camera for £300 with a kit 16-50, its still a damn good deal.

A good place to look at cheap camera deals is camerapricebuster.co.uk/Fuj…ens and it appears that this is a good deal as you're getting 3 lenses in total compared to the 1 lens at the best deal here of £367.

Wouldn't it be better to get the A6000 for a tad more? It seems like it has a lot more features.

The total cost of buying everything separately is around 700 so it's a good deal

The a6000 is quite a bit more and will probably just come with 1 lens

Yes it's a good deal, but still I would choice faster lens then f2.8. How much is for any f1.8 fuji lens?

F1.8 32mm is £530

So is this a 3 lens deal?

A6000 is actually only £30 more than this deal but yes it does come with only 1 lens.

BananaMannn

F1.8 32mm is £530

What? Omg so expensive!! I wouldn't go for this system then. Maybe only for resell all this stuff separately.
Camera can suits some needs, but not for me.

Sony S6000 or A5100 or nikon and their cheap lenses.

35mm F1.4 is £399. Check out how much a nikon or canon 35mm F1.4 costs

it's the cost of Fuji lenses that puts me off this deal. Great camera, very happy with my X10

Ebayers already selling these kits for £500-600 and they have only just ordered them from Amazon, so must be a good deal!

lukewalker48

So is this a 3 lens deal?

Sort of..
The package from Amazon comes with:
XC16-50mm
and
XF27mm

You can then send in your receipt and claim a 3rd lens from Fuji which is the XC50-230mm.

XC is the cheaper range of lenses, XF the better ones, which tend to be metal bodies.
I have an X-M1 and an old Canon EOS400D.
It took me a while to settle with the X-M1, I wasn't to impressed with the kit lens (XC16-50mm)
I bought a cheap manual focus converter ring and fitted my Canon nifty 50 (the cheaper one) and things started to get better.
I then bought the Fuji XF 27mm pancake which comes with this deal, and loved it. It's so small that the camera becomes the perfect carry around with image quality and colour rendition which imo, is better than my old 400D.

I was asking about f1.8 which Nikon selling for £149 but this Fuji lens is not that bad with this aperture at tgis price point.

Fuji users, if you could choose 3 lens which would you pick?

Im only an amateur, moving up from a fuji hs20 bridge camera, but looking to learn a lot more.

I've been looking at this option or the Sony A5100 that pops up for £299

Anyone know how they compare?

I've had the X-M1 for a year. This is a fantastic offer. Basically three lenses and a camera for £400 which will give great low light pictures. However I have just bought the Sony allegedly for my girlfriend because Sony's video is exceptional. Otherwise I believe both offer great image quality. If Iremember correctly the Sony doesnt give full manual control of the aperature/ISO. Everyone raves about Fuji colors.

I would recommend the Fuji, as the last couple of Sonys I have owned have disappointed due to compressing too many pixels on the sensor and creating images like artwork and of course the dreaded C:13:01 failure on two of their camera. If Sony spent less time creating too many cameras, reduced their prices and improved their quality control they could easily have been market leader just because of their innovation and features.

A few times this weekend it's been that as an Amazon lightning deal. It's due up again at 7pm tonight, probably the same price. Good luck.

very nice, basically a full set up.

is this cheaper than the other lightning deals for it though? one guy suggests they bought it the other day for 450?

The usual price for the kit is £700, including the 27mm lens and the 16-50mm lens. The 27mm lens is particularly good.

But with this deal you also get the 50-230 lens, which amazon usually sells for £223 (rrp is £379).

All in, you could separate out the package and sell it on ebay for £600+. The lenses individually go for around the £150+ mark, and the camera body itself also goes for £150+, so even selling on ebay the value is pretty huge. And buying it new, with all the associated warranty and returns guarantee, at this price is pretty phenomenal.

I've been looking for a deal on this exact camera for a long time, finally this came up and I snapped it up. This is by far the best deal anywhere in the UK if you can get it.

Someone else mentioned the Sony A5100. Also a great deal at £299, but it comes with only one lens, and doesn't have the low light performance of the Fujifilm X series. Still a great camera, but I feel that this Fuji is a slightly better deal, for me at least.

I've been disappointed with the low light performance of my HS20 (in good light it's been a great camera though), and have wanted to work with the 'proper stuff' for a little while, but always been put off by the prices involved for the extras required to make them good all-rounders.

This deal with the extra free lens looks like all i'll be needing, so at £399 i've gone for it. With its sensor being 12x the size of my HS20, it should be a nice upgrade

Wish I bought this deal....had it in my basket, got distracted and then when I went back, the deal had finished!

Gutted!

It was initially £450 which was the price I bought it at 10 days ago but yesterday Amazon emailed me to credit me with £50 as they had sold it a lower price later on another lightning deal.
I had thought of asking for a credit but doubted they'd do that for lightning deals and they offered it automatically anyway.

Mine has arrived!

These lenses are soooo light - its hard to believe they're normally so expensive!

Looks a nice little bit of kit tho!

Now to claim the free lens.....

Enjoy... I have been having tons of fun with my ones. Great shots even indoors. Finding it hard to take a poor photo, although the people here have managed somehow: photosfujiscanttake.tumblr.com/
