Lowest price this camera has been with 18-55 mm lens.

Camera has previously been at £749 body only, lens usually goes for around £499.

Available in silver, black, as well as charcoal silver which is my personal favourite.

Here's a review:
Xf better than xc?
From Ken's book:

FUJINON LENS XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS

Overall score out of 10: 8

Best used for: Video, all-purpose, portraiture, street, travel, still life, documentary.

Shortcomings / Not best for: telephoto work.

Value out of 10: 10

Observations: While most camera mfg. kit lenses are cheap “good enough” lenses, the 18-55 is actually an amazing lenses, and it can

be found very cheap used, is great for video use, and general purpose, has great OIS, is small and compact and renders beautifully.

Fujifilm made sure their kit lens would be a great winner, and it is! Fast and silent AF.

The XC 15-45 is more compact and lighter, however is a powered zoom so slower / not as responsive to use as the XF 18-55. The XF has superior build quality.
Fuji refurb is £959, not bad, £115 extra for a brand new version.
This is an absolute Bargin! I got this camera plus the XF kit lens from panamoz slightly cheaper so the fact that this is from amazon, and in charcoal is amazing! This is easily the best camera I have had. Currently in the process of feeling all my Nikon gear. I also have the 27mm pancake lens (got for £170) which is a dream and means you can actually put this camera in your pocket.
Save up for a GFX100 or get a 50R instead if strapped for cash.

Just to add, the image quality of the cheaper XC 15-45 is still very good, according to professional, and consumer user reviews. Also, some may appreciate the smaller size and weight of this lens, as well as it's slightly wider fov.

Not sure that people who are strapped for cash will save the extra few thousand all that quickly...

yeh the GFX100 is completely irrelevant in regards to a X-T30 !

What i will say to anyone interested in these, they are very small. To small really.
An aftermarket grip helps the x-tx0's but they are still very small cameras and fuji lens's are for the most part big and heavy.....

Not everyone has a PhD in photography. the convenience of a camera with lens attached to it is worth the premium over sourcing spare parts and piecing them together in a dark room.

Tbf I don’t think Brilly is suggesting anything too difficult. The lenses are detachable so he’s just suggesting a body only purchase and a lens from elsewhere so save some more money, and that you could choose a different lens if you wanted to

Pretty sure this isn’t the camera for someone who doesn’t want to attach the lens??

my condolences
Fuji makes some really nice prime lenses, ideal for a camera such as this.
Photogs say the best camera is the one you always have with you, and that's why I'll be buying this camera once I've saved enough pennies. It is small enough to take everywhere.

I agree. I currently shoot with an X-T20 and MHG-XT10 grip. This actually makes it bigger and heavier than an X-T2!
I shoot the XT30 without a grip. Also have now problems with Q button, but they have fixed that with software update anyway. I prefer without a grip as so much easier to carry. As it’s small, portraits are also fine. I think the size n feel depends on hand size. For me took 1-2 days to adjust.
