This seems an excellent price for a 3rd gen i3 (3110m) with dedicated GT620m 1Gb graphics. Rest of the spec seems fairly standard fayre - 4gb RAM, 500GB HDD, worth noting HDMI out and Bluetooth maybe...

I know ONLY an i3 - yes there have been cheaper i5 deals before - I currently cannot find any - Windows 8 splits opinion.. fair enough... won't actually be any good for proper gaming despite the ludicrous claims in the blurb BUT I think it has a lot going for it - I didn't include USB 3 in the things maybe also worth noting above either.

I personally don't think this is a bad laptop for the price.

Love to see all these cold voters find a better core i3 processor based lappy with nvidia dedicated gpu... cheaper... put up or shut up

Flea

I'm looking for a £300 pound ish laptop with dedicated gaphics at the request of a relative and havn't found anything that looks any good, can some of you cold voters point us to something hot.

I think this is a good price for the spec. RAM easily upgradeable, but an i3 with 1GB dedicated graphics looks good

Another afterthought was that my personal previous experience with Fujitsu products has always been of excellent build quality and they encumber their systems with less bloatware out of the box than other manufacturers.

Ice cold, gpu memory will be shared not dedicated, RAM is low, CPU is slow

£60 more (+P&P), decent warranty and SIGNIFICANTLY better spec (1080p screen, bluray, i5 over i3, larger HDD, larger dedicated gpu (shared RAM again)), an upgrade to a 1080p screen somewhere where you can customise a laptop like dell would cost an extra £100 easily

And I'm not even going to get started on the misplaced apostrophe

The clue is in the picture you kindly posted in your next ill-informed post

I will not quibble however that the medion you linked to is a good price for the spec also - but having been asked to find best value I could in 300-400 bracket for a colleague, does not fit what I need > found > shared

I can not believe this, how this can be cold?oO

Long running debate - not one for this forum and not something I'd suggest basing a laptop purchase upon.

Another well priced decent spec laptop - however you still have not provided anything cheaper and the specs are looking VERY similar now my friend. You seem determined to refute this as a deal - perhaps post some of these Medions yourself?

And I'll concede that most current thoughts are that because of the possible scope for confusion as it's used frequently as a contraction of it or has, that its is more appropriate - it is technically not wrong and as grammatical faux pas go, certainly not unforgivable in an ebay listing.

It looks pretty clear to me

These two words can cause a lot of confusion: many people are uncertain … These two words can cause a lot of confusion: many people are uncertain about whether or not to use an apostrophe. These are the rules to remember:its (without an apostrophe) means ‘belonging to it’:The dog wagged its tail. Each case is judged on its own merits.it’s (with an apostrophe) means ‘it is’ or ‘it has’:It’s been a long day. It’s cold outside. It’s a comfortable car and it’s got some great gadgets.

I'd spend more and get far superior that will last longer than buying cheap and poorly equipped. It's not CheapUKDeals, it's HOTUKDeals.

I don't need to post them, people already have (if you used the search you would see similar deals)

In fact you missed a scorcher, better ram/hdd/gpu and £50 cheaper

Personally would stay away from Medion - very bad German customer support & my old one Medion laptop got so hot I could have literally fry an egg on it..

had no issues with mine, 4 years and still going strong with proper maintenance

I am not so sure about the price etc. But the laptop itself should deliver something to teens/kids on a budge that want to play some games. Its not going to be amazing but its going to do more then HD4000 or similar and they have not hooked it up with a really hi def panel screen so its probably a decent bit of kit.
