Put Windows 7 on it and you have a cracking laptop, reasonable fast and good screen.

Wonder what the actual battery life is like?
I had one of these and got less than 50mins when trying to make it last as long as poss.

Nice spec

Is this the best spec laptop I can get for under £300?

Ordered it anyway, glad I did OOS now and Argos/Ebay only got the refurbs now at £299. Hope it's a good deal for what I need it for - didn't want to miss the boat and the 16" screen is a bonus!

Ordered one last night. I was going to wait for a windows 7 bargain but this one sounded too good to pass up. Do you know how much it would cost to upgrade to windows 7?

Just delivered by DHL, box a bit battered but everything else new. Had a sticker on it saying 'catalogue clearance reduced from £429.99 to £379.99 to £329.99 so to get it for £279.99 was brill. Topcashback didn't track thou, had to open a ticket so no idea what I will get back.
