It's worth mentioning this is loaded with FRENCH software.
Thanks Jefft for the pointer
Just spent a good 10 minutes surfing trying to find out if the localisation can be changed but came up with nothing. I don't think it can.

I bought a Panasonic digial camcorder from Pixmania and was apalled at how they sent the item. The camera and its Panasonic packaging was loose inside a large box about the size of a case of 12 wine bottles. It had been shipped from France with the Panasonic box flying around inside this overly large package. Not impressed for a £500 item.

If you look carefully on thier web site it is apparent that everything is sent from elsewhere in europe - so the power cables are all European, the manuals are not in English.

They should be more upfront about this - I would never have bought from them if I had been aware of these facts. My advice is avoid this organisation.
Yes Pixmania are a french company their products are often supplied with french software and manuals and non UK plugs, also you do not have any protection via trading standards or any UK legal redress if there is an unresolved problem.
And in my experience their "customer service" is very sadly lacking.

A friend who had cause to call them with a query over his order was dealt with by a spectacularly rude woman who refused to help him.
