It's mains powered as it's a 3.5" drive.

It looks like 3.5" drive so it will be mains powered. A 2.5" drive would cost more like £75+

Not much info available about this drive, i did read that some had hitachi drives & some had seagate drives in them

If by that you mean does windows 7 support hard disks and usb ports and if fujitsu don't eat their own shoes and give hard disks their own drivers for no reason other than because they want to.
