Award-winning Kaspersky Internet Security suite (RRP £49.99), Kaspersky Mobile Security suite (RRP £19.99) and Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Mac (£39.99) free of charge if you use Online Banking

As I'm a Barclays customer, Ive tested this myself, it is the FULL product with an unlimited license, renewable each year. It's the best out there and normally costs £50, so well worth it - and covers 3 pcs! Maybe even worth opening a free account just for the offer to renew each year

Ive not tested the Kaspersky Mobile Security suite or MAC suite, but confirm the PC version works and gives you a full 1 year license.

Been using for the last few years from barclays great deal its free ..Only for Barclaybank customers ..

You can even get mobile anti virus for android or iOS

I like the fact its a full license that you don't even need to worry about after 12 months, essentially, free AV for life of the partnership... which is ace as its clearly the best engine out there (even Microsoft use it in their exchange AV products).

I'm still a bit miffed they don't include credit card holders as well. I appreciate the reasons. Still miffed though!

why is it cold ?

when I 1st got it from Barclays I thought it was for 1 year, when it ran out I paid to get it renewed

then someone posted it on here and from the comments I learned that its free every year

so a re-post helps

Damn you Barclays. Nice offer but still not enough to make me ever go back to them. I remember years back they accidentally credited my account - and then asked for the money back again! I said I'd pay it back in instalments after of course telling them it was their fault so tough luck. I then closed my account before I'd finished paying it off and they never chased me up for the rest. Their attitude stank.

You could just open a basic cash account, deposit a penny and you've got antivirus forever - no experience with barclays required!

Are you 101% certain it's not just for 1 year or 2 years?? Because that is an astronomical saving - Kaspersky has been the only AV I've bothered with for the past decade or so as it's consistently near flawless.

Ill tell you next year?

Even at 12 months, its cheaper than £50 renewal!

Its my third year using this now for free and you get three license for windows...

Does anyone ITT have Windows 8?

I installed KIS 2014 several months ago, and my internet was ridiculously slow as a result. So I had to uninstall it, lots of other people had the same issue as well; as you can see in the Kaspersky forums.

So I basically wanted to know is anyone using this on Windows 8, and if they are, is it running fine? Thanks.

So I maybe to get this deal when the ING Direct fully switches over to Barclays??? I best I can get KIS for at the moment is an offer with my current bank....Smile for £14.99.

They wanted the money back that wasn't your's and their attitude stank ?oO You then didn't pay it back cos you closed your account so that's basically theft.

If you dropped a £20 note and saw somebody pick it up, would you not ask for it back ? How would you like it if they said they'd give you 5p a month until it was paid back ?

Bear in mind, this was in the days when banks were run by cocaine snorting ****s whose only interest was how much they could screw their customers. Okay so nothing much has changed but who the hell has that happen and thinks "oh, you poor, poor bank, here let me pay you this back immediately". I'm not that masochistic.

how do u get the code to renew Kaspersky each year?..do they send u it through email or something?

I'm hoping too as my inlaws are in the same situation. We did try but there was nothing available yet. Like NorthamtsPete said though,a person could just open a basic account and get free top quality AV.

Just log in to your account and sign up for another year. You will get an email with the new code.

Just to answer some of the questions : I've been using this on 3 PCs for 3 to 4 years. It tells you how many days you have left and warns you some time before it needs renewing. Then you simply log on to Barclays and follow the links to get a key for the following year. I'm using it on Windows 8 / 8.1 with no problems.

Just to confirm, are you using the 2014 version on Windows 8?

I'm using the 2014 version on windows 8.1 with no problems (and was using it on Windows 8 before 8.1)

I,m using BitDefender which was posted on here a few days ago. That is a free license for 9 months, I think it is brilliant, how do the 2 compare?

Both top of their game.

Kaspersky JUST pips at the post, but what works for some doesn't for others - both SOLID protection

Avast, avg etc. used to be great but no longer bullet proof - KAV and BD both at the top on all tests

Worth mentioning the Kaspersky Mobile security is absolute rubbish. After the license expired and it didn't give me an option to uninstall from the app itself or from the android app settings. So I disabled it as device administrator and it locked my phone. I ended up contacting Kaspersky and they said to do a hard reset. No thanks. I went for the tinker with the kaspersky files while in recovery mode option. It was easy as pie. Seriously. Anyone wanting to access your info can easily access it if you use Kaspersky mobile security.

It's not worth the hassle. Just get Lookout or AVG for free.

This deal has been posted here many times before:

I don't know why other deals become expired because Barclays have had this offer for many years on-going.

Thanks NorthantsPete. Will see how I get on with BitDefender after the free 9 months, Have a Barclays account so probably take up this offer.
Have been using free Avira for years, it,s done me ok, one to consider for those on a budget or don,t have a Barclays account.

Can vouch for this, been using it for the past few years no problems, renewed every year fine but remember to use an email address you check regularly!

Unfortunately, Avira used to lead the game because of their detection alone, during a full scan, however ive had issues with it catching viruses in the first place.. and then not being able to remove them - which made me switch to AVg. I then later loved Avast and now have moves to Bitdefender, which also do a free version (no frills, but has it all in there.. hidden!)

so my recommendation s any of these offers, failing that bitdefender Free (google it, as its not the easiest to find ont heir site)

Thanks

knew this long time ago this came out in 2013 but thanks op anyway!

how many licences do you get for the mobile version? would like to protect both phone and tablet.

just found it, mobile is a single

My account had £1 in it for a year until I got around to using it.

Being a basic account, the bank didn't push to close it.

Been trying to link my Woolwich (who are now owned by Barclays) mortgage up to this with no luck
