would be a real gamble buying this without a review.

I bought the previous version of this. It struggles in lower light levels and the autofocus hunts even in moderate light. The image quality is excellent and it works very well outside and is functional indoors under good lighting conditions.

This is the duff one that I have written about in threads on CMOS cameras over the past few months!. Bought by a friend, (it was 150 quid then) BIG regrets, used at his brother's wedding, ALL the indoor footage was completely useless.

Ideal if you are going to use it in a floodlight location, other wise just draw pictures, it would be better.

There is cheaper that can do the same thing, just as badly, such as the Kodak cheapie posted last week - it is is poor too, but at least it's half the price!
