don't think freeview is an option, to be honest, I'd been thinking with the HDMI input, it would be more use as a PC monitor or for use with an Xbox or similar games console...as for watching TV...don't think its any use at all unless you have a freeview box or sky box....

definite use as a PC mon or games console though

looks very like it in the photo, but I would err on the side of caution, I would imaging if it had Freeview, they would be shouting it out loud, mind you a freeview box is only £17...

No Freeview, No Freesat, No built in DVD player, Not even 3D, No 5 Year Guarantee - Rip Off !

LMFAO!

Voting cold, as I live on the mainland.....

Only joking, hot!!!

Hot! £100 for a full HD 24" screen - can't beat that!

torby - what store is this or is it only available at the warehouse?
andymack - a freeview box with HDMI out can be purchased for under£25 or under £12 on eBay

Don't forget your metre long HDMI cables at all good poundstores!

100 analogue program memory? I know NI is going to be the last place to have the analogue signal turned off (2012) although no mention is made of an analogue input. (If there is one I suppose it comes in handy to connect legacy equipment - I wonder how it would look on HD - no mention of upscaling either)

Round trip to Belfast via Ferry is £138 I'm sure I've seen it cheaper!

HOT HOT HOT

Would this be at the Nutts Corner warehouse I assume?

I see you have a date 'starting on 6th November'. Is it a full clearance sale like they had a while ago?

I remember coming across that one by accident on the day - the place was hugely swamped by people! The big draw then apparantly was some sort of power washer for £35 I recall. Turned out that some guy bought practically the lot as soon as it opened that morning and then proceeded to 'set up shop' in the corner of the carpark selling them off at twice the price! LOL

So, chances are, unless you were practically first in the queue, I'd say a very slim chance of picking one up unfortunately...

hey good deal, whish it whas over in uk

it's nutts corner you have to be a nut to go, as people start queueing on the day before sale starts
big big queues after finding a parking space a very long walk and long wait in queue 3-4 hours ,then
sorry sold out don't think so

About 0.00001% chance of getting one of these, wouldn't even waste the time going, there will only be a few and they will be sold out almost as soon as they open

HOT for Norn Iron alone

great bargains there, wish they'd do it in england too

Thanks for posting the brochure Toby.

Think these offers will be in the store in Andytown does anyone know? or is there a specific lidl warehouse somewhere? thanks

No - it's a warehouse clearance - just the one at Nutts Corner Dundrod - see post #14 for the brochure which gives all details.

its bout time ni got a good deal as most are mainland...i think its a hot deal as gona use on ps3 and gona get wireless keyboard that looks like laptop base as i think its good deal aswell.......thanks op for post and good to see ppl from northern ireland posting deals for us

looks a good price for a TV for the kitchen :-)

Hot if you get one,and like others have said it would be good for a pc monitor or games console.

Think they need to knock another penny off the lawnmower or risk getting done by Trading Standards - it's not (quite) half price!!!!

DVB just lets you know it's capable of receiving digital signals - why they bother is beyond me as they no longer make analogue TV's.

My mate went to their last clearance - said it was utter mayhem and would not go back. You have to be the night before cos the gits at the front buy everything

Err..it is in the UK! It's not in Great Britain though.

great bargains there, wish they'd do it in england too

They do !

We had one last year , a big lorry turned up at the Lidl car park and were selling stuff off, happens all over the UK, think they just call it a Car Park Sale

I'm gonna be there - working

always been after a welding unit.

Glad to see you guys getting a break at last

I'm in NI and voting cold. Sure it is a cheap price but it is made by silvercrest which is a poor brand (I had big probs with their DVD players before). Better to get a Sony lg or samsung

fair comment, but for £99 and a 3 year warranty...it's not bad for a games console or HD monitor...

'tis truly an explosive deal so it is to be sure

It's a great price but your not going to be able to buy it unless you consider setting up camp on their doorstep now

Good on you Northen Irish folks, you miss out on a lot of Mainland bargains according to these forums, so fill yer boots........

nutts corner is okay for fake dvds fags and magic mushies thats about all tho, oh and rugs lol.

Judging by the photo on the tv display it can handle 'bluetones' well
... these are obviously 'expecting to fly' off the shelves...
