full marks head lice lotion only £3 worth stocking up on if you have kids in school as it's usually more than double the price. also comes with free metal comb that you would pay around £4 for on it's own in store and online

You cant anymore. We used to get it but it stopped about 2 years ago.

Yes you can still get it free through the minor ailments I got some a few weeks ago for my kids.

How does this work now? It was a card for each child when i last used them but it got stopped.

Nevermind it was scrapped in my area (Derbyshire) and was called Pharmacy 1st. It also states the Minor ailment sceme is also due to be scrapped.

Minor ailment scheme is up and running in Cambridge, got Hedrin on it last week.

I have used several treatments on my daughter in the past, none of which have been 100% effective. The best thing I ever did was buy a Nitty Gritty comb. I was sceptical at first, but put my faith in the reviews. It was excellent! Initial outlay not much more than a bottle of lotion. Then no lotions required- only conditioner. No nasty chemicals on your child and no more breaking the bank every time they reappear. Great if you have more than 1 child too as that is gonna cost you heaps in lotions. The comb comes with a lifetime guarantee, so should there be any defect ever it will be replaced. Some doctors are even offering these on prescription now! More info and reviews...

Makes me wonder how they choose what town they should pick to scrap things oO

My GP prescribes head lice treatment, all I have to do is put in a written request for my kids and I can pick it up from the local chemist for free.
