Oh goody, just in time for our contract that ended yesterday.

So this, or Sky Q for £49 a month all in?

Does that price include line rental?

Never going back to them. HD for £10/month (at full price?). Record free channels on your own box? That'll be £10/month.
No ta. Voted cold.

Good deal for everything under £30
Heat given

why so cold? never watch TV but seems a hot deal - odd - is it BT Sport

No line rental or calls included, and prices can increase during the contract time. That's what it says on the T&Cs page.

The HD add on is just for sports nowadays, so Sky Cinema is HD from standard.

Already got it all in HD for £25 and fibre Pro for £10 plus £17 line rental. £52 all in is reasonable enough for me to cough up.

I have always had a stigma against being charged extra to have HD!... Movies and sports fine... But had is the norm!

Great deal. Just about to cancel Virgin as well however will keep the broadband as it's second to none in my area

Wonder if you can still get free fibre for life with sky sports in this deal? And the free anytime calls for 12 months too?

Sky Q is worthless, its just a software update they want to charge for.

I hear the android TV revolution is slowly killing sky off, so will probably get even cheaper. Extortionate prices were good while it lasted eh Mr Murdoch!

Yes. Bang on. Our offers ran out and they put our price up to £84pm. After bargaining/Retentions they offered £52pm and I decided to quit.

They were talking about their "free kids app" and "free sky sports 5" and "free unlimited broadband" and what amazing value it all is, and would not accept that these things are NOT free because I am paying them £50+pm.

For what it's worth, we've switched for one year to the BT Ultra HD pack with unlimited Infinity 1. After the £100 gift card and £155 cashback it works out at £21pm over term. Ok no Sky Sports but do get BT Sports. Add on a Netflix subscription £6pm for the convenience for the kids, for a year I am paying less than half what Sky wanted.

After the year then I'll be a new Sky customer and can look at their deals again when BT bump the price up.

Oh and picked up an Android box, couple of Fire Sticks, over the year still saving £300+ vs Sky's best price.

So I fully agree... Sky have splashed out billions on football and now have to recoup that from customers... We should all rise up and cancel as it's absurd...

I decided against it this morning. Upgraded Virgin Media, mainly as I like my faster internet & get BT Sport.

why so cold?

Seriously tempted by this unless VM can match it.
I can't seem to ever get Sky Sports streams to work smoothly through Kodi etc, so for £30 a month, it saves me the hassle for finding streams that actually work...unless of course I'm doing something wrong

I have another two months to go before I can cancel, sky is just so expensive.
I will using firestick and upgrade to fiber, and will be getting Netflix, I will be saving a ton of cash though the year....
It's about time sky stopped ripping us off.

Try talking to your Sky High street store for good deal. I did that today as I was confused with all the online offers and promotions. I wanted to leave BT phone and broadband and had not had Sky for 6 months.
I think I got a great deal.
Broadband Unlimited £5 pm for 12 months, Sky Q hub, 12 month contract
Talk Anytime Extra FREE £0 pm for 12 months, 12 month contract
Line Rental 35% off for 12 months, £11.31 per month 12 month contract.

Box set bundle + Cinema + Sports for £30 per month for 12 months
SKY Q 2TB UHD box and mini unit,(Multiroom) £12 per month

So £58.31 per month for 12 months all on 12 month contract.

Additional one off costs: Installation only £10, and delivery of Sky Q hub £9.95.

I was blown away with the deal I got as I was paying almost £61 per month with BT for phone and broadband with line rental and NO TV.

Hope this helps other confused by the myriad of deals being offered.

But after 12 months it will shoot up to £100 a month you then can go back to B
T and be a new customer only! Can someone tell me can you cancel contract if sky put up prices! Just want a new dish installed so if this ran for two months would be great to get a dish for £10. i do have line rental and broadband with them but cancelled because they won't offer a new deal! So got a BT deal at about £10 a month for fibre and line rental however they will say i am an existing customer! Anyway round this?

sky have been a joke this year. I have three boxes, full package with sports and cinema. fiber unlimited calls extra for phone and was paying £90 a month. think the discount was 50% on basically everything bar the line rental. this year they want £96. I said no as I am not getting any new kit. my TV finished today and still no better offers. the problem seems to be they are not doing discounts on the multi rooms or HD. that basically adds 13-20 tother price and the guy said all the agents want those discounts back. sky need to get real. there is so much competition out there now. I will give it a few days to see if anything better comes up. if not they will loose my broadband and phone too. I would be interested to know if others are having the same problem this year and if anyone has had deals with the multirooms.

Anyone received their redemption email? Want to see if it is cheaper than GET5KY deal for TV & fibre

Anyone know how to get this, and also take advantage fo the cheaper broadband it mentions?

Yes I agree, I will shop around in 12 months, or drop movies and sport, remove multiroom also as these services are not a priority. Happy for the next 12 months though.

I am so confused by this ... we have a Virgin deal fast Broadband basic TV box and telephone - I'm not interested in any "extras" don't want sports or movies, don't really want a landline but am struggling to find a deal that I understand especially with all the cashback offers and the cheap period after which ot rockets up. Personally I'm finding it a minefield, even going onto the so-called"confused" sites it doesn't help, they just list the confused figures breakdown !

Any advice very welcome.

No idea why this is cold... Signed up for this a couple of days ago and it works out as 70% off. Haven't seen it as cheap and works out cheaper than the now TV I have and adding a month of sky sports on. Hot!
