The latest of Amazon's cracking deals on children's books, pick up Funnybones for £3.49, their best price ever (usually retails for £5-6)

It's an odd little story that was an instant hit, with a family of skeletons going out to find someone to scare of an evening.

Maybe a bit much for the most timid of kids, but good clean fun and without a single screen in sight

Unfortunately it looks like Amazon have removed the £1 digital credit for No Rush delivery.

Ahh this and Jamie and his magic torch, happy times!!
Does anyone remember those puzzle adventure books where you got to choose what choice you would make? I think the protagonist was a monkey or something?
I'd forgotten about this! Ordered for my little boy
Thank you my boys loved Funnybones and now I can buy this for my Granddaughter
Bargain. Thanks!
I always cringe when one of my children selects this to read before bed. It takes forever to read!!!

My son absolutely loves the "Give yourself goosebumps" books - spooky stories where you choose how the story goes
By today standard this is rubbish, hard to push merch for something like this. Needs for merch for the kids

Might blow your mind to learn that it was Griff Rhys Jones who did the "in a dark dark town..." intro!

That's a shame, it was when they reduced it yesterday (and was applied to my order when I bought a copy). Perhaps all the people from HUKD have reduced their profitabilty to the point where they removed it? I'll update my OP.

It may be down to where the item is available from - no-rush is likely amazon only, where third party (fulfilled by Prime) may negate this. Not to worry, it's still a good deal and got heat from me.
Classic.
lets not leave out the parents
Nostalgia fest! Talking about this wth sister and we remembered Bill the Burglar, the Worst Witch, Peace at Last and others

Extreme overuse of the word 'dark', poor writing!
