3311071.jpgVery are currently running a price reduction campaign for a week called 'Very Big Deals'. Products selected for discount will vary and come and go throughout the week . This iPhone 8 128GB for example, has been reduced by a further £30 bringing it down to £499. As always folks will say its an old phone and not worth the money, but considering you get 12 months warranty, brand new phone/battery and the new Apple TV+ subscription free for 12 months, I think isn't such a bad deal especially when you compare it to the newest iPhone 11 equivalent, its a considerable £280 cheaper.

Like new is not new. Also some people prefer smaller iPhones and/or LCD.

They're the same age, and the iPhone X deal was 64GB and second hand.

This has the same processor as the X, 128GB so double the memory, brand new with warranty. Admittedly, the camera and screen is slightly better on the X, but the 8 has slightly better battery life.

I'm not saying it's hot though. You're only saving £30 against the current Apple RRP, so I'm not voting either way.
Don’t forget you also have the option to spread the cost over 12 months , interest free (providing you pay it all off ) with Very.
Also suspicion is the deal yesterday for 299 was a pricing error.

The promo code wasn't supposed to work on pay as you go, only pay monthly and in fact stopped working on PAYG shortly after.

Owned the 8 and currently using the X.

Gimme the X all day long.
By all accounts there will be an updated version of this or something similar with much better internals at a cheaper price point early next year, so I'd wait for that if you can.
Good price, the 8 is still a current model and hasn’t had a drastic price drop. I traded my old 64gb one in this week for £250

Who did you go with ? I went with m magp a number of years back when I traded in my iPhone 6s . Sent it immaculate but they got back to me with a lower quote stating it had a scratch. Avoided them ever since . Going back a few years so maybe a one-off
