whizzkid sorry great find

Bought this last week..... hot deal

Shame it broke after 2 days:cry::cry:

Looks like a good deal - does this use loose coffee or are you tied to certain pods etc.

I reserved on of these but thought I'd check on Amazon for any reviews. If you read the reviews (Model 47070), this unit has problems with the smell and taste, so its worth taking this into consideration if/when purchasing:

29 reviews on Argos praise it, 8.4/10 on Reevoo, 87/100 on moneysupermarket.com ...

harmony999 is right, i liked the idea and the price, but the amazon reviews are awful!

I bought one last week
It's fine, there's no after taste or smell etc.
The timer is a nice touch to wake up to fresh coffee.
It's better than our old coffee maker which broke

There's a lot more reviews on Argos, there's only 5 on Amazon

not in stock near me, would have been good for my mum.

I've had one of these for nearly 2 years now, use it at least 3 times a day and I love it!

Bough one of these last January from Asda for 25 quid. Had to take the 1st one back for the problem described in the Amazon reviews. The one we have now works fine if you brew it from cold, however if you immediately try to make a 2nd pot while the unit is warm it gives the plasticy chemical taste...

Christmas has came early for my sisters. thanks

We've had one of these in the office about 2 years, it gets used daily at least 4 brews a day and i have to say we've never had a single problem with it, its never failed, never given a dodgy taste and keeps on trucking...

So much so we bought a 2nd for a spare... imo Amazon reviews are rarely worth the paper they are printed on

Picked mine up today ,

Makes a quick cuppa coffee ,

looks smart and comes with 2 years cover

Hi all ,

can anyone recommend the best coffee ?

can you get dunkin donuts coffee in the uk anywhere ?

please list what you think is nice i got some coffee from m&s and it wasn't that nice ....

plus to make x 2 large cups i have to make coffee for 6 people lol

I have this one and it is excellent!

Voted Hot!

I personally wouldn't get too hung up on those reviews.

Three of them were all made within days of each other, by users using their "Real Name" and all saying "DO NOT BUY".

Now, I am not a cynic nor a conspiracy theorist however that smells seriously fishy to me. Especially when you check and these real named reviewers have only ever left one review.

So, to summarise:
1) The all used their "Real Names" (In my experience of amazon barely 25% of reviewers actually do this)
2) The all left their reviews in the same month, mere days apart in fact
3) They all say very much the same thing
4) They have only ever left one review.

Personally I use Revoo and the other (plentiful) sites about as the reviews on Amazon are just far too open to abuse, especially since the market place opened and competing sellerss try to get other peoples listing results shunted down the results list by giving them 1 star reviews.

Just my thoughts - I know nothing about this machine so cannot comment on the actual item.

Just reserved one for the parent xmas present. Thanks
