I was getting one of these for my son, was really cautious after all the issues I had seen with them in the news a while back with faulty batteries/chargers.

These are on a pre Xmas sale 50% off
(apparently).

I'm pretty confident they don't usually charge double for these but the price is very competitive and is about the same as you pay for one from a China warehouse. I don't expect this to get particularly hot but if anyone is looking for one for a Xmas present
I may have saved you some time as from what I can see this is the cheapest UK made 'classic Hoverboard' currently and seems like a pretty decent company.

Haven't these things been made illegal or something

It falls under the same rule as riding a bike on the pavement so technically yes, wether it's enforced or not I don't know, wouldn't dream of letting my lad go around in the street on it anyway.

Guess that's why it's being voted cold, nevermind 🙄

you can only use them legally on private property.

Most probably going cold because of the number of injuries and house fires these caused,

I live in West London and use to see people with them all over the place but now it's like a needle in a hay stack.

As I said in the description I'm aware of the Chinese knock off catching fire... 🙄

Where do you think this is made?

Nice one thanks. And with a 3 yr warranty.
I'm buying several to ride near all of these people whinging about them. Tricks'n'stunts innit.

Besides from the hazard. Am I the only one who thinks this is the worst thing you can buy your child? Kids are already lazy, now you want to give them an excuse not to walk?

Hopefully this is a fad that is now long since over - may be the cheapest price OP, but I think this is also why they're reduced.

Wow, hopefully if anyone like me has a child asking for one of these I've helped you. For the rest of the moaners about this product, in my eyes a next generation skateboard/pair of rollerblades. Think I'll stick to using the deals on this site rather than contributing. 🙄

The trick is post your deal then don't worry about the comments. , If you purchased one and are happy then great if it helps others then brilliant.
My 9 he old asked for one. He has most other stuff and it's hard to find anything else he may enjoy.

Not sure why this has expired. It’s still available and actually a very good deal in comparison to all the others I’ve seen advertised.
It’s nice to have a decent warranty on a product like this and someone in the uk that can deal with any problems.
Just ordered the classic in white.

No not really. They don't use them as an excuse to walk anywhere and they take a great deal of control to master them.
It just helps improve coordination and motor skills plus having fun at the same time.

So learn to control this Hoover board burns more calories than walking? I'm not saying kids will want one so they don't walk. But giving this to them, they will use it as an excuse not to walk. Parents should encourage their children to be as active as possible. Not provide other means to become lazy.

Fun, maybe. A bike is also fun and requires a great deal of control to master and more effort to get it moving. Plus there's no fear of it exploding under your feet. And it's generally cheaper to buy.

In the end, each to their own
