great deal, ive been holding off replacing my 3 broken drifting official controllers.
I know these are not the best in terms of quality for sticks, but neither is the official or the elite

and I had a voucher so cost me 15.38.

That's an amazing deal! This is one of the best controllers I've ever used. Honestly thought about buying a second one as backup at this price!
Beware the 3.5mm connection, always have complaints about poor communication whilst using a wired headset connected 2 original version of these controller's, so I use mine with a wireless headset

There supposed to be a firmware fix that corrects this, but sound advice
Are these better than the normal official controllers?

I'm referring to just normal gaming use. I won't be mapping any buttons or doing anything fancy. Just playing FIFA and a few FPS.

Me too, my old xbone controller is showing signs of abuse quite fancied the look of this. Probably not much cop for cod but for general gaming looks good

I'll post back with impressions after receipt, if the deal is still active. But they're supposed to be a near miss for the Elite pad standard, and share some of its weightiness in stark contrast to the Razer premium pads

Would like to be able to sleep like a normal human

Will accept this gamepad as a tribute to our struggles

For FPS they're great even without the button mapping. It has a switch for each trigger which gives a quicker response when shooting and also comes with a slightly longer stick which I use for my aiming thumb. All in all it's the best controller I've ever used.
Only downside is that it's wired, but if that's not an issue for you then jobs a good un!
price back up to £80
OK, so I've played with this a bit.

It has a heavy premium feel, which I like a lot - I want a controller with weight in my hands. This is the primary reason I've not tried the Razer controllers - while premium they are also extremely lightweight - the opposite of what I want.

When I first got an Elite controller it made even the regular official controllers feel like plastic toys. It's a similar story here; the controller does not want for a premium feel.

I would say that the Elite has the edge on feel, but it's nearly 4x the price, so... Yeah, this is extreme value. Indeed, the short verison of my opinion is that the Elite is better in virtually every sense, but only slightly in most cases.

So, yes, it is far, far better than the standard controller, as long as you have a preference for wired controllers (I do.)

Because this is designed to be used wired, there's a recess for the micro USB connector on the controller body, which should protect the cable for longer - I use my Elite pad predominantly wired, and have to replace the USB cable 3x a year - and it's always the connector that wears out. This is a definite design improvement in the Fusion pad.

In terms of actual use, the most noticeable difference is that the shoulder buttons have a slightly more prominent placement than the official controllers. I play rocket league with both fingers on the trigger/shoulder at the same time so this difference in prominence is quite noticeable to me. However, it doesn't appear to be an issue for me in use at all. The edges of the shoulder buttons are also more square than the official pads, so you notice them more because of that as well.

Hopefully those shoulders are more robust than the official controllers, because I suspect you wouldn't be able to use stock parts to replace them, and shoulder button death is a killer in the official controllers.

Strange reading all the comments around the web. Some saying the firmware fixes it, some don't... Specific serial numbers, etc...
Yeah, I know. So far mines been fine since I did the update this morning. Only issue now is I hear a hum if Ihave mic monitoring up so I have that off.

Anyone know why my mic won’t mute while using this controller, I have the cloud 2’s and when i select mute in the Xbox audio settings the mic still picks up everything. It’s a shame this pad doesn’t take the adapter
