I have used this Flour before and it is excellent, makes a great loaf in my Panasonic bread maker. I previously bought this and a few other types from Aldi when it periodically hits the shelves for around £1.59 a bag. You will see that other varieties such as the tipo OO is in excess of £10 as are the others so to illustrate how good a price this is

I saw this on Amazon and thought it was fantastic. It means that each bag is less than £1. For strong Flour this is really good.

It arrived this week and the Best before date is May 2018. It did take a couple of weeks to arrive. But it did say on the packet that it had been made on May - so maybe it will be quicker now.

It is an add on item so I think it has to be purchased with £20 worth of qualifying items.

Here is the brief description of the Flour.

Product Description
A speciality blend of strong white flour, malted wheat flakes and malt flour for bread and rolls. This flour is extremely popular due to its flavoursome, malty aroma with added texture from the wheat flakes.
Ingredients
Wheat Flour [Wheat Flour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin (B3), Thiamin (B1)], Malted Wheat Flakes, Wheat Bran, Wholemeal Wheat flour, Malted Barley, Dark Rye Flour.

I'M in the middle of a free trial of Amazon Prime and just ordered it with free delivery. Didn't have to be as an add-on. I too have bought this flour when it's in Aldi, this is a great deal. Thanks.

The Aldi own 75p flour and their amazing yeast have disappeared from our store
anyone else had this ?

Great, glad it's of use to somebody. Happy baking

Thanks op. Just ordered. Tremendous value!

3 packs ordered for my Panasonic bread maker. Brilliant thanks. I usually use a mix of Lidl brown and white flour and some seeds but expect this is much better.

I'd like to try this especially at this price but I'm not sure how quickly I'd go through 7.5kg. Does it last long in the cupboard in terms of strength or flavour?

I use 500 grand per loaf. So 15 loaves. I eat 2 to 3 loaves a week, but then I like bread and I'm a little over weight! Should keep ok if dry.

i tried this from aldi , it had an odd taste as did their other flour from this company. hard to describe the flavour -- almost 'soapy'. ive not tried it again though.

I can't get to below a million quid a loaf, how have you managed it?

It clearly says Add-on item. It cannot be ordered on its own.

Well I have and had confirmation of my order!
