This G-Shock in the 5600 range has a lot going for it. Solar, Radio Controlled and Auto Illuminating in low light being the main features for me. It is a good price compared to many outlets and the cheapest I can see.

A smart looking watch if you like digital displays (and looks a bit like a "smart" watch without the drawbacks.

  • Made to survive: this g-shock watch is designed to survive the stresses of daily life and for everything from laundry and washing your hands, to getting caught in true british rain, this watch is 200 metres water resistant and suitable for professional diving as a diving watch. The display is made from hard mineral glass which protects the watch from unsightly damage and the watch can survive temperatures as low as -10 °c. Manufactured using our patented hollow Core Guard Structure, this protects against impact and vibration as well as 10 metre drops onto concrete
  • Bluetooth smart: the watch is equipped with energy-saving Bluetooth technology, which offers power-saving data transfer at the push of a button. The watch can connect to a smartphone wirelessly via Bluetooth using the g-shock connected app, enabling access to a wide range of useful Functions such as Phone Finder feature. If you misplace your connected Phone, push a button on the watch to sound an Alarm on the Phone

  • Casio tough solar technology powers the watch by light. With this eco-friendly feature, you never need to replace the battery, also helping maintain the water resistant of the watch. There is also a built in battery level indicator which shows the current battery charge level of the watch
Radio Controlled time keeping: using Multi-Band 6 Automatic atomic time updates are received via the built-in Radio signal receiver. This ensures that the exact time is displayed across Europe, the us, Japan, and China. This watch features world time Functions as well and can display the current time in major cities and specific areas around the world
  • 5 daily alarms: the daily Alarm reminds you about recurring events with an acoustic signal at the time you have set. This model has 5 independent alarms for flexible reminders of important appointments

Not a bad deal, but paid £61.91 in October from Amazon.

There is often a lower price at some stage, the problem is you may never see it again or have to wait ages. You did well but it was so much lower that I would hold off at this price.

Never the less, let's see if I can get the right setting.

Nice watch wanted one for ages But.................. bought one and as said was very nice but having been used to normal G-Shocks it seemed very small on my 7" wrists
I posted this deal and the mods deleted it as seller didn't have enough feedback, even though this is on prime, it is not sold by Amazon i was told
I bought this a few weeks ago. Good G-Shock. I personally prefer the smaller squared ones. Have a 7 inch wrist so anything bigger (like the usual G-Shocks) look a bit daft on me.

Sorry but negative displays are a bit duff for me

Agreed, personally I’d go for the GW-M5610 at 74.99
Agree, i just sold on a lovely Tissot, I couldn't get on with the negative display. I was desperate to love it too.

They don't seem to do the more interesting colours in a normal display, in that shape. like the Hawaii though.

I can understand your view, personally, I like the negative look on this watch, perhaps not all lcd's though. Interestingly, a lot of people go out of their way to perform the hack in order to have a negative display but it is all in the eye of the beholder.

I personally prefer the negative display as it gives you the smartwatch look in first had and absolutely it's more energy saving.

It just looks right on this style watch, a "stealth" mode.

Great deal!
This deal was posted some time ago. Surprised it's still going as was around £96- £120 normally.
Nothing wrong with the negative display. Matter of choice I guess.
A G--Shock with Mutiband 6. Solar powered, bluetooth, & a nice new fade in/out light etc.. for under £70! No brainer!
