I have had one of these since November and I love it. I bought one for my 80 year old mother too. We both found the Dyson was getting to heavy to use regularly and this is so light, yet powerful enough, to do the whole house in 20 mins. I only get the Dyson out once a month to get right in the corners etc for deep cleaning. I love not having to unplug and replug.

These look so cool, It may just tempt me to do the hoovering lol

Great vacuum... Really shows how over engineered dysons are

Might check it out, need to replace current heavy vacuum for ease of use etc. Shame its not the K9 version as that would be a bargain.
Still cheapest I have seen it brand new.
Just need to get a small cleaner for the sides as no tools come with this.
apparently people use this on the stairs too, need to see how easy that is!

I can't see this on the website - never used Costco, am I missing something?

Worst vacuum I ever had, have gone back to my DC59 now.

What was wrong with it out of curiosity?
It's also a bit odd comparing the performance of a £299.99 vacuum to a £167.98 one.

It was uncomfortable to use and didn't pick up as well as my DC59

Picked one up last night. did a quick test out of the box, yes battery was on red but it picked up everything off the wool rug which is fine since that is the deepest pile it will have to face in the house. hard floor it did well too and can go quite far under the sofas due to the flexibility.
Will try it out tonight around the bedrooms.
Only thing is I do see the odd occasions where I might have to go over certain areas more than once, but for the convenience I still think its a winner.
I see that the handheld is currently £50 on the companies website, rrp is £150 on it. Seems like a good addition for the stairs etc.
