sorted byBuild quality is good, nothing special, no metal. Screen is super, great viewing from most angles, just watching Youtube is incredible compared with my old laptop (Lenovo 330s, intel gold processor, so really not hard to be better!)
It's a bit bulky on my small desk. It's up 6 inches in the air so I have more room for my external keyboard and mouse. My stand covers almost all of the air intakes, so I could do with changing that, or sticking a few coke caps under so the air can get in better.
No RGB on the laptop keyboard, I don't think anyway, just normal white background light.
If you have some specific questions then let me know and I'll try and answer them.
An additional note. I've had a play with the Alienware software, it's a bit rubbish. I've been using the Nvidia Geforce Experience. No blue screen or freezing issues with anything. (edited)
Now, in this instance of a relatively small screen whilst sitting a few feet away, not being able to run settings on high may not make any objective difference, but you could end up paying for a mid-range experience (1080p on high IMO) and not getting it.
Worth upgrading?
Performance gains wouldn't be substantial to justify buying a new machine.
