Decent price this.
I've actually got 2 versions of this.
The older one and this one this one is far better.
I got mine of Amazon for about £35

If it's a genuine a G1w then this is a great price but I don't trust gearbest because there are too many Chinese fake copies of this camera and Gearbest have a history of selling fakes.

My G1W fake (from ebay) actually has a significantly clearer picture than the one I got from Gearbest when this deal came up a couple of months back. Personally I'd stick with "fakes" from ebay!

Maybe your fake ebay one was actually a genuine one and the Gearbest one was a fake or more likely both were fake but one was better than the other.
I bought a genuine one from Amazon last year and the picture quality is superb and is even better than my other family members mobius cameras that we have in three different cars.

How can you tell genuine from fake then?

I paid over £40 for this on Amazon last year. If it's the same one then this price is fantastic.
My only issue is the pointless light on it. It's capacitor so can't be removed from power and the light just hits the windscreen. I've solved it with duct tape though.

To be 100% sure you need to open it up and look at the parts and chip numbers.
You could also look at the numerous clips on youtube about fakes and how to identify them.

You can turn the pointless light of in the settings menu, on mine iirc it's described as an infrared night light.

Guessing it’s gone - shows as $50 for me
