MY opinion !!! This is well worth the money, I would buy another If i didn't already have one that I use every week, since the last time we all bought one from amazon.it at £65.

For me this is much better than a stone, as I would imagine a stone is dependant on how good your oven is. Yes its another gadget but if you like fresh homemade pizza then these are worth it. I like the fact the top element cooks the toppings quickly and the stone at the bottom crisp the base. Then its nice and soft in the middle.

This deal went really HOT last time it was a good price like this.

That's one ugly looking product.
Pizza stone for much better results and no where near £69.90 plus £9.83 delivery . Ridiculous price

Have you used this product? Pizza stones are great in an oven, but surely not as good as a good pizza oven??

An oven won't get to the temperature that this will, this is why it cooks pizza different to what an oven will, this fully cooks a pizza in under 4 minutes. This type of oven is also aimed more at the market of people who make their own pizza from scratch and not shop bought.

I only ever make pizzas from scratch, they cook in my oven with a stone in 4 minutes

Yes, I have. Ended up in the charity shop as its just another gadget. Cant beat a homemade stone baked pizza. The pizza oven is just a stone with top and bottom heat, my oven has a pizza setting which is also top and bottom heat.

You're right about homemade, my aim is definitely to build one.

One day...
Any good deals on pizza stones then?
274 ratings with an average of 4.5 stars on Amazon UK, looks a good deal to me, good find op
Just be careful with these : they are EU plugged and i switched mine to a UK 3 pin. They aren't made super well and within 2 years it blew and gave me an electric shock - sent it straight to the tip after that.

That would have been the earlier version of this, the internals of these have been changed and this problem no longer exists to the best of my knowledge. In the earlier model the wires in the legs would over heat and melt the wires together shorting the unit, a very easy strip down and fix with an electric block and foil/electrical tape to prevent it hope happening again.
I’m a bit of pizza making hobbyists I guess .. I have used this and a stone and I get better result from a stone to be honest.

On balance some have said they order the pizza when cooked on this.

Preference I guess. Mine ended up in the gadget corner of the attic

The best pizza is made using a Pizza Steel, a stone doesn't even compare.

What?! That sounds like something from the 1960's, why has there not been a product recall? Why was it passed as safe in the first place?

That’s interesting .. I’ll have a look for one and give it ago .. thanks for the tip. I gather the steel absorbs heat more efficiently than a stone

Funny this all started with a family dinner at pizza express .. I thought I never venture in to the kitchen much I’m going to have a go at pizza making. Quite enjoy it with the kids.

Correct - it radiates as much as it absorbs. It's also easier to clean, less fragile, and can be recycled.

I've had this for about 3 years and absolutely love it, pizza stones don't come anywhere near this. I use mine every Saturday night! at this price im tempted to buy another! there are quite a few forum where people mod these by increasing the upper heat as there is a knack to getting it right.

The trick is to leave it on 2 heat setting to warm up and then when youre ready to cook turn it up to 3 and leave the top open, when the heating element in the top glows red throw your pizza in, 2.5 mins later its cooked perfectly!
Looks like Evil Stitch
Big ol' frying pan on the hob then under the grill.. beats all the above and costs £0 -Zero (assuming you have a big ol' frying pan already).. On quiet days at work we dont bother turning on the pizza oven but just make in a pan and grill. And in my opinion they taste better. I made a video for a friend recently showing exactly how to do it.. can link if anyone wants to see it..
It seems to me that everyone that says this is crap has never actually owned one and everyone that has owned one says it's amazing. Hmmm
No Ferrari puns? You guys are slow with it today, you all need to step it up a gear!

I can only see at at 90 euros

All sold out
Had mine for several years now, think I paid £49 for it at the time.

It gets used about once a month and does a pretty good job, plus the kids love being able to make their own pizzas from scratch.

I also take it into work occasionally and we all make our own pizzas in the office, great fun!

Top tip - make sure the element in the lid is glowing when you put the pizza in.

Also, tortilla wraps are great for a quick snack.

I bought a plug from Screwfix and cut the euro one off. I wouldn't want to run that much power through an adapter
