If you add the code BAN209 (as posted by bearpack) you get free delivery.

60 pence per book from a Nobel literature prize winner seems like a bargain to me!

Anyone use Bananas the book company before this seems a very good deal if right.

They are offshoot of The Book People so reliable.

i am not happy with bananas. it has taken 10 days for my delivery.

i have a feeling that they forgot my order cos once i complained i got a confirmation email and it was delievered 3 days later.

other than, it has a slightly different range to the book pople. they sell the end of line from the book people, although some of the stock i have never seen book people selling

I've recently had exactly the same issue with the book people. They emailed saying they "are currently experiencing an unexpected high volume in orders, which has resulted in a delay with deliveries at the moment, please rest assured that we are working to ensure all orders are despatched as soon as possible and that our delivery times return to the standard five to seven working days."

I guess the sales are taking their toll. I've used Bananas a few times in the past and found them to be quick and reliable even over the Christmas period, so I guess it's horses for courses.

Gabriel Garcia Marquez

Which comic does he write for?

Excellent deal - was posted back in December but went OOS VERY quickly indeed. I know someone who was looking for these, so hopefully they'll have enough until tomorrow! Heat added.

Great deal.. but the free delivery code does not seem to work. it says BAN209 accepted but still charges me 3.5 GBP for delivery...

Voted HOT anyway !!
