This may not be everyone's cup of tea. but if you are a coffee connoisseur, this is a fantastic machine.

This has recently dropped in price and at some places it's nearer the £600 mark.

If you want to check it out in action, watch the review here youtube.com/wat…-a0

Been waiting for a deal like this all year - they wait until 6 weeks to Xmas!

Sorry kids - pressures going back and coffee beans for Xmas lunch!

Pressies

Good spot - great machine. Would love to go for this but have just replaced my deceased De'Longhi Magnifica with a new one.

Bought this from german amazon last year as it was cheaper. Great machine

Just watched the youtube video and I want one! These have to taste better and work out cheaper than those Tassimos etc?

Lovely. Is there a significant saving in buying beans?

Nothing wrong with the Delonghi machines but why refer to the Makro site when it can be bought for nearly hundred pound less from Amazon here

Not that I would recommend it, but it is a few quid cheaper still at Pixmania just now.

I have this and a tassimo, this rocks! Love my tassimo but this is in a different league

It tastes better. Much better.

Beans about £12 for a 3lb bag from Costco, and they last me about 3 months. Getting about 240 single espressos for that.

Try the Makro beans. The 100% Arabica beans are great. Just about to drink my second mug of the morning!

Cant hold back just orderd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best price ive seen in a while for this and with me vat back makes it even better.....................

Have one of these and the results are fantastic, decent price

might go for the warehouse deal(_;)

If your gonna buy a decent machine I recommend Square Mile Coffee. Pricey, but the results are something else. Beans are best used within a month of their roasting date.

I second this, these guys and those at Has Bean Coffee are at the forefront of coffee in this country and are in another league altogether. As edgeone says, a bit more money, but the gain in favour is stunning. Fresh coffee beans are the most important item in the process, with most connosaurs agreeing it is better to have freshly roasted coffee and a cheap brew method than an expensive machine and substandard coffee. Decent fresh coffee and a good espresso machine is a real head turner

How does the quality of the taste of coffee compare to a Nespresso?

We have had one in our office for over 5 years now making 20 cups a day. Still going fine!

Great price for a bean-to-cup. Always use the freshest beans you can get though as it makes a real difference. I use CoffeebeanShop

My home setup with a separate machine and grinder gets better results but is a little more hassle and cost the same as this.

ridiculous price just to make coffee......now if it could make tea....

Just need to find a decent deal on some new Latte Glasses now

Couldnt wait just orded these

I suppose for some people this would be over complicated better off sticking to a kettle and cup then........................

Thanks for the feedback. Your employer is much more generous compared to mine.

tempting, i also had a look and amazon have they have Philips Saeco Intelia Focus 2012 model, at just above £350 or via tribal for £300. Phillips have taken over gaggia, so from what i can see both machines are of similar spec, but cant find review for the saeco. decisions decisions??

Does it make it hot....some of these built in coffee machines (like an small oven size) like Neff seem to me to make only warm coffee which puts me off.

Not sure if they are bean to cup though

Hot hot hot

I want one! Not sure should I get this or the de'longhi magnifica?

Both seem to do the same but de'longhi is 262. Help please?

Done! At this price I couldn't resist - Gaggia are the business.
