Not a bad price at all, can't see it listed anywhere else close to the current offer from Currys (well not within £50)

The black Gaggia Cubika Plus RI8151/60 Espresso Machine will give you a delicious perfect espresso in minutes.

Boasting a 15-bar pump to give every cup of espresso the perfect crema, the Gaggia Cubika Plus RI8151/60 Espresso Machine can also serve both ground coffee and Easy Serve Espresso (ESE) pods. The large reservoir holds 2.5 litres and the filter can serve one or two cups, while the removable drip tray allows easy cleaning. Additionally this machine offers a number of different strength settings to create a coffee exactly how you like it. Additionally the Panarello steamer attachment rotates to allow access to hot or cold frothed milk in seconds, allowing you to serve up a beautiful cappuccino or latte. This machine will also serve hot water for tea or other drinks.

Great price but none near me

Heat added
The original Cubika machine suffered badly from having an underpowered boiler (only 700 watts) and a cheap aluminium filter holder which didn't retain heat as well as a proper brass one.

This new "plus" version has a more powerful boiler (1100 watts) but I think the filter holder is still aluminium, which would be unacceptable on a £200 machine but for £89 it's par for the course.

Any Gaggia machine for less than £100 is a bit of a bargain - apart from the original Cubika that is!

Great price but none near me :(Free delivery online though X)Heat added

Not sure if this model has the issue as well with the water being at the front of the machine so sometimes when removing the coffee filter if its pressured and spits some out - it ends up in the water reservoir, if not - cracking price for a gaggia, I have had the Gaggia Espresso for years, love it, gets used daily and not had any problems with it.
Don't forget 1.5% quidco
Great price, plenty in stock South London.
Good price though you'd be mad to pay £200 for one. Personally I'd sooner look on eBay for a good used Coffee Deluxe - no frills but metal case, standard Gaggia portafilter (which I prefer to the Cubika offering) and not much to go wrong.
I saw this yesterday in the store - although it's a Gaggia, you would be mad to pay £200 for it....it's really the bottom range of Gaggia. Also for me, it doesn't look well built at all. For £89, I guess it's OK for what it is.

Baby is a much better model but could cost double...
Great price
Bargain! Paid £139 in the summer. Used everyday and never had a problem unlike my icona which I had four in six months!
Hot and frothy from me.

Have bought one to update from my 6yr old Gaggia.

Buy your ESE pods from here and they are a great price per cup.

I got this almost a year ago. No problems at all. A fantastic little machine, used daily.
Paid full price and worth every penny. This is an amazing bargain.
Have some heat from me.

Sorry but it offers nothing significant over the cheapo cookworks model
I like espresso's and have a Delongi machine I bought around 3 years ago for roughly £50. It's ok but not great. Now this is 15 bar too and I always wonder what I'm getting for the extra money. Does this really make better tasting coffee, and if so why?

Does anyone have one of these or a similar machine who has also used cheaper 15 bar machines? If so can you post your experiences please?
Sorry if this sounds like a stupid question but apart from pods can you make coffee with this machine from freshly ground coffee beans?
can't seem to get it at the offer price it goes up to 199.99 when added to the basket :-(
It's £199 now.Expired?
It looks as if it's reverted to £199.99 for now, although not available till the 11th (today).

Flagged as expired, but monitoring (initial stock may have sold out)

Yes you can, but you would obviously need to grind the beans first. If you are unsure about coffee, pop into your local coffee merchant, they will be happy to clue you up.
Hi just bought at £89 price must have reverted back.
Great deal.
Thanks OP

Please unexpire
Just reserved one at £89.

A great deal. I need to be careful with the water resevoir at the front. I ruined my Gaggia Classic by not noticing that I got coffee grains in the resevoir which then degraded the tubing and it was too much hassle to get fixed.

This'll beat my stove-top. Thanks OP! Please unexpire
Thanks Estraysian, I've unexpired this for now.
I cant recommend Gaggias purely from my own experience - I bought a baby class but unfortunately didnt use it for some time, then when i did, after using twice it no longer works! Couldnt return as out of warranty period!

Ps if anyone knows how to fix them, pleeeeaaase let me know!
Thanks, ordered one tonight from Best Buy - with Quidco and price match should bring it down to around £79

Trust me, there are things that go wrong. The boiler is notorious on the Coffee Deluxe for malfunctioning. I've got one and the boiler lasted 15 months. Replacement is £77 plus carriage. Man at Gaggia Service in Nottingham said that they regularly went wrong. You can get a replacement on EBay but they are second grade imports from China for £40 (inc carriage) and they are **** poor.
Quick feedback on the coffee maker.

It's a sturdy little machine and I think it's good value for the price. It's a clear step down from the Gaggia Classic I had before but it does the job (after a few tweaks). A large covered water resevoir at the back so I'm less likely to ruin this one.

I was very irritated with the pressurize portafilter (the bit where you put the coffee). The materials use to manufacture it are not of the best quality and it was shoddily put together. I just had to dismantle mine in order to get water flowing through it. The spring mounted button that regulates the flow through the tiny hole in the bottom was jammed. Seems okay now, fingers crossed. This doesn't seem to be a common problem from looking on the Internet to see if anyone had similar problems (and a solution).

hi,can you tell me how to get the price match with quidco?

Yes no problem, bought from Bestbuy.co.uk at £138.99, Quidco of £5.79.

Price matched with Currys at £89, so a refund of £54.99 back on my card, therefore, £84
- Quidco of £5.79. Total of £78.21. Nice

Just had to wait until I received the item (arrived yesterday) and call, took 5 minutes and confirmed refund.
