Milk Frother island not included
The coffee from this is amazing!
Hunting around for a milk island now after buying this - can anyone find a cheap one?
Never bought a coffee machine before, the wife like instant, and I hate it, so drink tea.
So bought this, but she does like latte's from costa ect.. so hopefully she wont mind too much, 300.00 is a lot at xmas, but will be nice to wake up with a nice Xmas eggnog coffee, or baileys and coffee
Expensive kettle........
through quidco, Philips online.
If you convert your TCB into Amazon vouchers (like I do) and as long the cashback gets paid out, that makes this coffee machine £265.

I bought the Gaggia Brera 2 weeks ago from Amazon and it makes great coffee. If I could send it back to Amazon for a refund I would buy this but I don´t think Amazon would accept a return since I have been using it.
Thats great coffee machine! Really,it makes the best coffee you can have at home.Highly recommend,as this one is nothing to compare with Bosch Tassimo,or Dolce Gusto. Heat for a price.

How is this anything like a kettle ?
WOW, possibly an even better deal than the Gaggia Brera I purchased from Amazon for £270 a fortnight ago. Tank capacity is 500ml larger than the Brera too which is a bonus.

Whats wrong with the milk frother ?

The island just seems like a gimmic and also another thing to clean, the steamer only needs a wipe

Nope, will keep an eye on this thread as I'd like one too. Can't justify the prices I'm seeing, guess I'll put up with the glass beaker I'm presently using.

I have been looking for almost 6 monthss, and never seen a price like this, for what you get. Buy it, remember with TCB its less than 300.00.
voted cold when it was £460 or so.... but at this price ... I wonder whether to get one, although I do have a Gaggia classic already.... what to do, what to do??? voted hot in the meantime anyway, never seen this price!

We were referring to the 'milk island' attachment not the machine, I've managed to find one for £96 delivered but that still seems excessive...

Oh sorry, The island looks cool, but for 100.00 it only froths milk, and the steamer looks like it does a good job of that, and like I said, just another thing to clean.

Has anyone managed to find the warranty details - there is a lot to go wrong on these.
Thanks, thats another present for me sorted

Awful customer reviews on this machine all over the web. Lots of complaints of it breaking after a couple of weeks & then taking 6 weeks to be fixed. I was looking at a few different Gaggia machines but after reading these kind of horror stories I think I'm going to go with a De-Longhi now...

Heat added for price though as it is the cheapest by a long shot.

I seen that when looking at the touch screen one I bought, but seen someone say they had theirs for 2 years in a office and used about 10 times a day and still going strong, so seems a bit hit and miss with these bean to cup ones.

If it breaks will demand refund as they have a 28 day return policy,

Fingers crossed my Gaggia Vision is OK.

Don't worry, it will last ages at home conditions...as the same one machine at my mates office is going strong for third year, making 25+ cups a day.

We had a Gaggia bean to cup not so long ago, and it proved very unreliable, even in the short term.

Replaced it with a Siemens - no reliability problems, and a much better designed machine all round.

My favourite coffee beans from Nero. And cost only £4.95 for 500g.
When traveling, always buy Jacobs in Germany; 1kg for 9 euro.
