A lot of the Amazon UK reviews mention reliability issues. Seems like a good deal, but any idea what would happen if it went wrong? Would Amazon UK accept it or does it have a European warranty?

I only skimmed that site, but it looks like it's based in Italy and has a £31.24 delivery charge.
Gaggia classic and separate grinder is the way to go imho
Just found one for £180 on eBay
I have had one of these at home for something like 8-10 years (closer to 10 I think) and so far it has produced 6,059 coffees. It has not gone wrong once. If my understanding is correct, Gaggia machines are now made by Philips and are not a patch on the machines such as this which is metal bodied and superb build quality. I'm surprised that this machine is still being sold as it's been around for a while now (I think there was a 'Titanium Plus' also), but I would say that any more recent equivalents would be £800+, so this is somewhat of a bargain. I also believe that spares for this are still available as I have seen them for sale on various sites.

As per my previous comment (that I have this machine), I don't disagree that your idea is cheaper, but the joy of just being able to press one button and have a tasty coffee delivered with no hassle is worth its weight in gold. Having said this, I do not recommend the machine for making cappuccinos or lattes as the device for doing this was never very successful in my opinion and involved a lot of faff. If you like espressos or 'normal' coffees (americano?) then this machine is superb.

broken, how much is to fix it?
Protected by eBay money back guarantee so don't really care

Well I'm no technician, but if the fuse in the plug has gone, about 10p.....if the machine has exploded into a thousand pieces, then I think it will be a tad dearer.

Thats's exactly what I have at the moment, but was toying with a bean - to - cup for quickness in the mornings.
In the end I upgraded the steam wand on my Classic using a Rancilio wand from ebay for £15 which makes a significant improvement. In the end the reason I didn't pick up the Titanium was because it has the same steam wand at the Classic. Thought it would be a shame not to share though! (The Brera model is also periodically cheaper on amazon Italy).
