Similar to Onlive as it offers cloud gaming but on a totally different level, from inside your browser! Yup, you can load up a game of Fifa 12 or Crysis 2 - more titles available, within seconds. No signup required.. Full screen next gen gaming without any effort at all. Graphics are also superior to Onlive. 360 Controller supported.

————————————————————————————————————————

Games ready to play are in a couple clicks of a button are..

• Crysis 2
• Battlefield Bad Company 2
• Fifa Soccer 12
• Witcher 2
• Dragon Age II
• Dead Space 2
• Dead Rising 2
• Bulletstorm
• Sims Generations and Sims Medievil
• Sniper - Ghost Warrior
• Magicka
• Spore
• Farming Simulator 2011

Ok they're just demos, however its a way to kill time without having to download anything.

————————————————————————————————————————

HOW DO I??

Click "Go to deal", and choose the game you wish to play. Do bear in mind that you will need a fast internet connection to play, just like Onlive so please don't vote cold if your internet doesn't fit the bill. And if you're wondering how I added bullet points to the post, hold down Alt and press 0149. •Happy new Year•

I was very impressed by this - the graphics on FIFA 12 were impressive, if a little stuttery at times, on my knackered Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66Ghz, Mobile Intel Express Chipset.

To be honest, I didn't hold much hope of it running - but it did, with graphics to rival my PS3. (I couldn't play FIFA with my keyboard though, it's not intuitive enough). I concede, it was quick and no mucking about with sign ups to play.
It does not matter what graphics or processor your using for cloud gaming ( as long as your computer can handle windows and web browsing).

Your internet connection is the main component to get good results as all the graphics and data processing is done on a server and filtered though the internet to your computer.

I've not tried the service yet as I've a ps3 with plenty of titles to get through.

What type of internet connection do you have Hadouken!?

Oh - I'm aware of how the whole cloud thing works - I was just very surprised to see it in motion running in a java environment.
My bandwidth is like 3MB or something, I pull about 1,300kbps on average which was perfectly adequate - but there was some minor glitching while playing.
I have a 5.1mb connection and it works for me.

I tried battlefield bad company 2.

I have this game on both the pc and ps3 in comparison the graphics are poor ( kinda like watching a low definition video of a game though youtube) this is more than likely because of my internet speed,

What disappointed me the most was the lag when using controls, could be down to the internet connection again.

But playing a top title on my p4 3.2ghz dell with reasonably good graphics has got to be good, I'll keep an eye on this type of gaming.

No lag for me.
Unlike OnLive, Gaikai doesn't seem to work on Macs (you get "Java Required" even though Java's installed).
EDIT: Correction, works fine with Mac Firefox. Just played Crysis 2 - great game!

Heat added,

Your post did show me the way to experience the first stages of cloud gaming without the hassle of signing up to anything (which if and when i'm ready I'd hope to join during a free full game promotion) and it was very simple to get up and running.

Thank you and happy new year.

Are u sure fluidz about that statement i played all games and they feel like 720p not 1080p same as onlive

being playing this for the past 2 weeks games r great but the only reason they have them titles is because its in beta when on live was in beta they had mirrors edge, resident evil 5 etc

i cant see it beating onlive yet only because onlive has a head start and a ten times beta interface and the games load up faster if u look at your windows task manger onlive breakdown the bandwidth much faster (which is good and bad if u don't have an unlimited connection)

Gakai is more broadband friendly so it has its advantages

Sorry Fluidz I was just saying they both feel like 720p you were saying the graphics are better which i find hard to believe

PS. Onlive have said they will bring 1080p sometime before the end of the 2012

Well for example, Crysis 2 runs at Max settings, but the resolution is low, which lets it down.

What you end up viewing still requires a decent gfx* card or you get low level res. What is the point in playing the game with the best graphics if it looks ****

e.g how does it work with riva tnt/2 (it don't)
