gain £20 gift voucher for rejoining prime - Poss account specific

Found 25th Dec 2017
so i received this letter last week due to my prime sub ending, the offer is if i resub by midnight of 31st December & keep it active until 31st march & a voucher will be emailed to me in beginning of April for £20.

ive attached of few screenshots of the letter, but i expect the offer is account specific but who knows you might get some luck, i resigned up using the link & i got no screen telling me the deal is active but i take it the link is comman used link as it has no code that bind it to my account.

I wasnt sure where to post this as it kinda a voucher but you need to meet the t&c by resigning up to prime by 31st dec & be a member until 31st march then you get a £20 gift certificate so as it maybe in the wrong section dont delete it just pm & i will remove & move it, this will save me retyping this & finding links to pictures.

I assume that this is extremely account specific
‘i expect the offer is account specific’

And that’s why this will go ice cold.
from reading the t&c is looks open to anyone resigning back up before midnight on 31st but i would contact Amazon to make sure
This is why Amazon dominate the shopping market and why i love them!
- Cheap, competitive Prices
- Huge range of items
- Prompt delivery
- Excellent customer service

simple things yet most UK retailers just cant compete

Amazon carry on booming cos i love you!

Edgy
Got prime, probably watched about half a dozen films in 2 yrs, meant to cancel this time to see if they'd offer owt, handy for the prime stuff, but as always, the new years resolution is to stop buying rubbish...
I received this too, about 2 weeks...you need to stay with prime until March to receive 20£..so 7.99x 3= 23.97.
23.97£-20£voucher = 3.97 for 3mnths of PRIME
Don't worry OP, people just voting like sheeps...
Merry Christmas!

I've just had a chat with Amazon CS and can confirm that all Customer who re-subscribe to Prime and keep their subscription active until March 31st 2018 will receive the credit in the form of a card sent out on or shortly after that date.

"I would like to inform you that you’ll receive a £20 voucher to spend on the millions of items on amazon.co.uk, if you are still a Prime member on 31st March 2018. WE have sent the letter to all the customers and it is very clearly noted on the letter."

Might be helpful for a few

I cancelled my Prime just before Black Friday hoping for a deal (£59.99 last year), but no reductions this time around. I have not renewed since, and I have not received a letter from Amazon.
Account only.. I had the same card and Web address offering another trial once I entered it it then charged 7.99 wtf so onto chat and they new nothing of the deal and asked for the web address to which I was told they cannot see the offer .. ended up with a goodwill credit of £5
But I did renew at full price ..

Neither have I, I chanced my arm and asked for the promo based on the info here. He said that the letter would be sent out once the promo conditions had been fulfilled, ie you remain a Prime Customer until the 31st March 2018, then you receive the letter.

I hope that clarifies what I thought I had already written.

So, why has the OP received a letter and not others in a similar boat, regardless of what you have been told since ? Seems there are some inconsistencies here.

Agreed. That's exactly the reason why I asked the question and got the response I quoted from the CS rep.

I put this post here to, hopefully, clear things up for anyone who has re-subscribed lately, myself included.
Think I'm going to drop my prime account in favour of Netflixs when it expires.
Tried the Netflix trail and so much better than Amazon with no extra charges unlike most of the Amazon content

If you could add 'excellent employer' to that list they would be perfect. Unfortunately they aren't.

The breadth and quality of tv series is excellent. And the channels look interesting too.
Anyone got their £20 voucher yet
