Just spotted a great deal on the A34 5G if you have access to Samsung's EPP website. Samsung are currently offering an additional £114 discount so the 128GB costs £200 and the 256Gb is £245. Not quite as cheap as the last promotion which was dependant on the minimum £50 trade in. However just got the 256Gb mobile this week and I am very impressed with it.

    Anyone knows if Samsung would accept a non-smart mobile phone as a trade-in?

    The trade in T&C's say it needs to be a smartphone although somebody posted a few weeks on a similar deal that they sent in a non smart broken phone which was accepted. I guess you will need to judge whether chancing it is worth the risk. If you choose to go ahead I suggest you list it as broken and hope they dont test it

    I suppose it depends what you compare it against. I bought one on last month's offer at £220 to replace my A40 which after 3 years struggled to keep charge for more than 6 hours. Only had it a few days and so far it has been quite good. If you can get it at the heavily discounted price I feel it is good buy.

    Samsung EPP website now updated showing discount code as £75 on the 256 Gb model only.

    Discount code is only working on the 256Gb model and it only adds £75 to existing EPP discount so the advertised £114 is not cumulative. You can still get minimum £50 trade in for any phone which may help

    Just a note to say that you need to claim back the £75 now, but when you use the EPP site it doesn't have the "any phone" for £50 trade in option. It's seems that it's only available on Samsung's regular site, so this deal works out more expensive compared to the 75 & 50 off on the regular site. For me, neither is a great deal anymore 👎🏻
