I wasn't aware you could use Google Pay on Samsung phones. OK, great. I prefer Google Pay anyway! Heat.
I think I'm going crazy. I've also been looking at the Watch3 which only has Samsung Pay (as far as I'm aware).

I wanna swap my iPhone XS and Apple Watch 4 to get note 10 plus snap and galaxy watch. But being in uK and having Barclays debit card won’t let me use either Samsung or google pay as bank doesn’t support it. I’d need to use Curve app and link my card to it and then to gpay 🤪
Can you download and use a normal bank app from the AppStore with no issues using this Hong Kong model? Barclays for example. I've never purchased an international model before and wasn't sure if there was any geolocation issues.

Smashing deal btw, I genuinely thought this was a refurbished price but it's new!

It’s new, but they state that they open it to install google services and to unlock it. So for anyone buying - seal will be open. Just an FYI. Btw: Still thinking to order it

They don’t either Samsung Pay or Google Pay. Only Apple Pay works with Barclays

I have a s20+ Hong Kong snapdragon model (3 pin which is a bonus) and banking apps, Samsung pay and Google pay work fine. Samsung pay has ads in Chinese (you basically never need to see these) but apart from that no issues

Did you get it from Wonda May I ask? I’m thinking about it as Exynos battery life is not good compared to snap

Yes forgot to mention it was wondamobile. A friend has also used them without issue.

Had an exynos s20+ on launch from Samsung. It used to get very warm and battery lasted almost 2 hours less (SOT) than the snapdragon one I have now. If you don't mind the lack warranty (can insure with a bank) then without doubt it's worth importing the SD model.

Especially based on price (£699). I just wonder if this Snap will give me more than 7 hours SOT as I’m heavy user. My S9 and XS die around 6pm with my usage

Can't compare like for like but for reference I get about 7.5hrs SOT with 16hrs up time and about 10% left. 96hz (mod) and 4500mah battery. At 60hz on the note 10 I'm sure you could get about the same with the 4300 battery. Some users on reddit found they got better battery life on the note 10 series compared to s20 series. All depends on your usage I guess

That's strange. I chose English when setting up the phone and haven't seen anything stuck in Chinese. Including Samsung pay
Really want, but they don't stock Aura Blue colour
What about the 5G bands?
Does anyone know if phone insurance (Lifestyle Group) will cover new/refurbished purchases made from these types of online shops inc. MusicMagpie especially been an international model or do they only cover new retail purchases? Just curious if I claim through Barclays. If so this is a no brainer deal for me :/

Same for me. Good question. They need proof of purchase, so as long as we have a screenshot of order and price then I think it’s alright. Any invoice that maybe is in the box? Also if they replace your phone (for example if screen is broken) then you’d get Exynos instead as they don’t fix phones screens at all. (At least Barclays insurance)
Will this Snapdragon model have an FM radio
Thinking of getting this or the S20 plus what do u guys think

There are region specific things such as software updates (can come a week later than a US Snapdragon models) and you can't join things like BETA programs that are for the UK and US, have to wait for the HK schedule. The only things that may not work is VoLTE, which I don't really use. My phone has the option but I don't think it works with Vodafone.
any one selling one here in uk snapdragon pm
