Just got the misses this, this is the 2gb ram 4g version of the s3 and the extra ram does make it a lot better than the 1gb version! I know this for a fact as I have that one. This contract only comes with 1gb of internet for £14 a month but you can add an all you can eat data add on for £3 a month and as 3 offer 4g to everyone for no extra cost this is a decent deal for unlimited 4g data. And seeing as on the three website, a sim only deal with unlimited data but only 200mins is £15 a month, this is an extra 100mins a month and a "free" phone for only £2 a month extra. Also of course the sim only is 12 month but this contract is 24 months

1GB data not Unlimited as OP says

Tethering?

I think the £3 AYCE data add on is dead, you pay £3 per data double (i.e. 1gb to 2gb costs £3, 2gb to 4gb another £3 then another £3 to get unlimited, so £9 extra per month). I was planning to use the trick when I upgrade in January as there are plenty of cheap Three deals with 1gb data. Three seem to be squeezing everywhere, they barely do any handsets on the lower tariffs they offer, which is very different to two years ago

Tethering?

If it's like their other plans, you get 2gb a month on handset contracts and 4gb a month on SIM only

Obviously that's up to (you don't get 2gb tethering on a 1gb contract! ☺)

When I spoke to 3 customer services before ordering the phone to confirm you can get an all you can eat addon, he told me then it was £3 a month, not ordered the addon yet though, was going to do it tomorrow so someone will have to confirm if I was misinformed by three customer services

So can you tether with this deal? What eve the allowance is

@peterthebigone I don't think you can tether with this deal. It doesn't mention tethering in the blurb, so I assume it's not included. I'd be interested to see if the unlimited data at £3 is available as an add on though. I'd like to see confirmation of that add on, if someone has it.

I've tweeted Three to ask about the ayce add on, if it's a yes then I'll order it.

Not often i agree with a dingle But same here

Add Tethering 1GB £5pm
Add All-you-can-eat* All-you-can-eat
data for 30 days. £5pm
These prices are only for plans started on or before 15/7/2014

Had an online chat with Janet at Three. AYCE data cannot be added to a phone plan of less than 2g - at least not directly. You have to buy an extra 1gb add on at £5 then an AYCE add on at £3, so £8 in total.

You can't upgrade to ayce directly. It would cost £22pm.

I asked about tethering in store and was told a simple 2 tier structure. If you have a contract sim only then you get 4-gb tethering, contract phone has 2gb tethering. If you are on PAYG then you have to buy the addon which, to me, was far more expensive.

Misleading title as it's not unlimited data

I should also say that I bought the SIM only package at £22.99 which gives me AYCE Minutes, AYCE Texts, AYCE Data and 4GB-unrestricted tethering per month. Works for me perfecly.

better off getting a nexus 5.. and sticking a pay as you go three sim in it

You are adding on a chunk of cost that way. This will be a perfect deal for my dad. This or the Z3 compact offer......

Wow this is a brilliant deal for the 2GB version of the phone which is 4G compatible and got the Kit Kat upgrade I believe.

Just ordered - now at £14 per month through this link for 1gb data, unltd texts and 300 minutes.
