Granted, it's a few years old now at this point, but for someone on a lower budget and still wants a 'flagship' model, you can't really go wrong for under £140 of the queens finest.

£10 is discounted automatigically at checkout

Had a quick look around and this seems to be a great price for this, even as a refurb, so have at it

I have S6 for 2.5 years now. Charged to 100% during the night, it is 6.30 now and it's at 15%. I watched a few videos from BBC today, but no netflix etc, browsed a lot, though. Not an issue for me at all thanks to fast charging. Battery performance had dropped significantly with one of the system updates and I was considering getting a new phone back then, but since the last two updates it's been much better and I will be keeping it for now. If lack of external SD card is not an issue, then at this price it is a great phone. I hope this will help some of you to make the decision.

Might be old but the screen is still a cut above new ultra priced offerings using lower paper spec panels.

You simply can't buy new replacement screens for less.

The phone is great and the spec and performance at that price is still top. The camera in particular is a highlight.

HOWEVER! The battery is likely to be awful in a used model this old, even if the overall condition is good.

It's a good price, but beware.

Should be £25 max to replace the battery in those small phone shops.
Think if you sign up to the newsletter on the site they give you another 10% off
Also worth noting that battery cases can be had cheap, though they do bulk up the device.
I bought one from Magpie about a month ago. It was listed as "good". It was pristine when I got it.

You got one and it lasts 20 mins max?
Believe it or not, you can install an S7 edge battery on this and get a huge increase in battery life.
I'd buy this if it wasn't for battery concern.
Otherwise it seems great.

This or a new Redmi Note 5 Plus?

If you have read the following posts, and from what I hear on all these forums, battery is a big gamble for the s6, a BIG one. Would personally go for the redmi note 5 plus on that front

Call it what you want. If you actually did some research you'd see it's a common issue.
I had an s6 edge and sold it to music magpie when the battery went bad. Was lasting an hour even after I replaced the battery and getting really hot so not sure whether they did something to the software in an update which screwed it up. I tried everything to fix it including wiping the phone but was no good.
if you select very good condition it takes £20 off the £179.99 making it £159.99 for a decent condition S6 - I think it's worth the extra

I've just had a quick look on eBay for you, searched for "Samsung Vodafone unlock code" sort by lowest price and postage, they start at £2.25.

That's a fair point.
I have an S6, nearly from release. Never had to factory reset It, still does everything really well. Well worth the price especially with 12 months warranty.

That sounds more like a blown motherboard rather than a battery.

Agree with the others, fantastic phone except for the battery.

This x100
If I remember correctly, Samsung controversially removed the microSD slot for the S6 series, and caused enough backlash to to make them added it back on the S7 series?

People that want to add microSD card might want to double-check the spec.
I'm out of contract with my S6, can't find a good enough reason to "upgrade" it. Flawless for over two years!
I wouldn't advise going for the 32gb model.

It's a flagship phone with a great screen, battery life was never brilliant (few are these days) but I don't recognise the comments about 20 minutes. Mine lasted most of the day. Has been sitting there unused for a while so mine's currently on eBay (64gb). Have an S8 now which is a little bit faster but lasts no longer and actually I miss the fingerprint scanner being on the front.

Your correct, no SD slot.

It does have an IR blaster though for changing the TV at work

Check the ulefone power 3... is quite similar but it can last 4 days the battery with a 6" gorilla 4 screen!

Same here. I busted my charger port last year (my fault) so been using a wireless fast charger for it. But its still fab....Battery is losing it slightly but lasts alot more than 20 mins. My only gripe is the lack of sd card slot!

It might not be battery health, possibly more power consumption from more demanding software
