Does my mi band 3 count as a watch?

Does my mi band 3 count as a watch?

I actually don't know, just looked through the terms and conditions and apart from it saying it has to power on and have charger etc for the full £50, the Appendix listing the watches just has "Misc - Any Watch" as a listing. They have the Fitbit Alta on there which is basically just a fitness band.

Yup that's what I'm thinking. May phone them. Is it a good deal for £130? Can get 46mm with trade in for this price as I'm a student

Bought a few smart watches from samsung the past few years and traded in some non working mechanical watches just fine under the 'Misc - Any watch'. Doesn't matter what condition, as long as its a watch!

hell yes!!!!

What are you trading in actually, as all I can see is the the options to trade in samsung, apple, garmin and fitbit. Thats via the student portal.

Student price of the 46mm is £179 (4g is £233), 42mm is £161 (4g is £215).

Same for me, I finally found the 46mm at £179 but there is no "misc" trade-in showing, only Samsung, Apple, Garmin etc.
@deals69 Any watch - misc discount is only £25 according to t&c - " * A flat rate discount of £25 is applicable if your Existing Watch is not on the list of applicable Existing Watches"
Looks like they've removed the "Misc" trade-in option completely now
Sorry if this is going off topic, but I have a Huawei P20 Pro, would this watch pair of with it or would I be better off getting a Huawei watch instead? Many thanks!

I used mine with the P20, worked fine. You need to install about 3 different apps to get it all working mind you, plus found that the battery saving was quite intensive on the P20, so to get all your notifications to come through you'll need to exclude the Samsung galaxy wearable app from being restricted or put to sleep.
That's great, thanks for your help!
thanks op, £129 plus TCB working for me

Ok will do. Appreciate the advice. Want the link?

Please.
Something is seriously amiss with the website, but persistence paid off in the end. I could 'see' the trade in option in my cart to take my purchase down to £149 (I bought the 46mm version) but couldn't get to the end of that process, the tickbox to confirm my trade-in was working wouldn't 'tick'. Tried again with Firefox, then desperation with Edge, same issue each time. Phoned them in the end but they couldn't do this deal over the phone, but did suggest using another device - tried it on my desktop computer rather than my laptop and worked first time!
I'm a happy boy then - tomorrow I'll get my 46mm Galaxy Watch for just £150 delivered. Only thing now is to work out how to do the trade in!
Whats difference between the standard one and lte? If i get lte, can i still connect it to my phone?
Going to chop in my moto360 2gen and upgrade to this tonight. Has a small scratch on the screen will that be classed as ware&tare? It's not a crack.
Can I trade in a generic smart watch from Amazon for £17?
Does any one know if the misc "any watch" has to be a smart watch or could it be a normal watch?

Shame other retailers not doing the trade in offer. I wonder if Samsung stores have this....

I've got it sussed! If you log in via any discount portal the list of trade-in options doesn't include the "Misc" option for £50. If you go via a discount portal the initial price is cheaper but the trade-in options are more restricted.

Yeah it would still connect to your phone, but when out of range it would go into lte mode, you would need to upgrade your mobile contract to include the esim. Think Vodafone is about £7 extra month (it'll use the same data plan). EE do it as well but not sure the cost.
As in any smart watch or any watch? The T&c seem to say a smart watch ? Thanks
Confused here, is it any watch that can be traded in or just a working smart watch. Will definitely be buying if it's any watch under misc
Fantastic. Ordered. I have one of these laying around. 'Smart' watch..........

Twice I've traded in with the 'any watch' option. Both were non working, 1 was a mechanical watch the other a digital with a broken strap. Worked fine for me. Think if you select a apple product but return any old sh#t you might get called on it but if you choose the any watch it'll be fine.
