Awesome weedkiller. Bought this last year for £40 and have only used about a quarter of it. It dilutes really well as it's super concentrated - you only need a tiny amount. It works really well and destroys the weeds in about a week. Wouldn't buy any other weedkiller.

Does this kill your grass aswell?

It's the main chemical in roundup. Same thing just way cheaper. Good find.

Bought some from the same place a few weeks ago along with a 20l knapsack sprayer (bloody heavy when full) went mental and sprayed everything and then absolutely nothing happened for over a week, was starting to think I'd been ripped off then bang - everything dead, like proper dead, looked like someone had napalmed the place - magic stuff. May even put some in a water pistol undiluted to squirt at all tye the neighbour cats that use my flower beds as a litter tray, hopefully it will napalm those furry foes also.

It kills everything. Absorbed into leaves and gradually stops plants natural processes and kills at the roots. If used on specific plants and kept to leaves, does not get into soil or affect adjacent plants. Cannot recommend enough. Great spot at this price. Thanks. Heat Added..

This stuff is incredible, the side of my garden is like the apocalypse 2 weeks on from spraying it. Makes it very easy just to pull the dead weeds up as the roots are dead.

Are you really suggesting that you would spray a living creature with a poison??? Oh well at least RSPCA can use this as evidence for the court case..... Let's hope it was a joke

Cheers for this ordered!

My elderly neighbour has a forest of mares tail on his side of the trench.
It's such a size that it's spread into my veg plot and the other side's lawn.
Digging it out doesn't work. Roots can be 3 ft down and in any case it comes under the hedge.
Will this chemical kill mares tail?
Would it have an effect on remote roots?

Slip of the finger - for trench read "hedge".

Yes, but horsetails have a waxy coating. Best to bruise/crush/damage the leaf before spraying for better absorption. And be prepared to repeat the process!

It's actually a pound cheaper on ebay from the same seller. HERE Seller is currently stating monday delivery if you buy in the next 4 hours.

I bought this from them a few weeks ago, next day delivery. It worked a treat. There's no free gallipot and gloves on the ebay purchase though.

Thanks ordered.

good stuff what the pro's use.

Can this be used on Japanese knotweed?

word of warning: handle with great care and appropriate protective clothing or it will (eventually) kill you.

monsanto is to stop producing roundup etc due to its toxicity to users.

Tempted

do you apply this neat or diluted, have a lot of weeds to kill

Don't do what I did and go spraying the weeds in the wind. End up with eyes full of weedkiller! Worth buying some goggles to go along with it! lol

Its went down in price £25.75 a whole extra 25p in your pocket. Treat yourself to a dash of coke in your vodka!

Does anyone know how long this stuff hangs around in the soil for. I have a plot set aside as a vege patch, but it is currently overrun with all kinds of things (brambles, dandelions, nettles, grasses, ivy etc). If I went mad with this stuff, how long until I could plant something?

Do I take it then that would be perfect for spraying between paving stones where the weeds are coming through?

Phil this product is absorbed by the plants, it doesn't stay in the soil, so once weeds dead and you've dug/cleared the area you can plant or sow right away.

It's a herbicide, not a pesticide, right? Why the paragraphs of warnings about pesticides?

hi, does anyone know whether it would stain block paving.

Hilarious how people are snapping this up only to pollute their own back garden and poison the waterways. I wouldn't recommend any of you lot try organic home gardening any time soon.

[quote=Gaz1972]hi, does anyone know whether it would stain block paving, also do the weeds shrivel away, thanks

Someone asked the question on Amazon: "To the best of my belief, it will not. The concentrate (and when diluted) is a clear liquid. It is water soluble which means any residues on the concrete should wash away. Lastly, it is not strongly acid or alkali and there should be no significant chemical reaction with the concrete. But hey - if you've already bought this, why not try on a small area of the block paving yourself ?"

No it won't, just kills the weeds between the cracks.

I use this. Please bear in mind it is a professional product without childproof lids and needs to be locked away in a spraystore. I use an old fridge with a hasp and staple on it which protects it from the frost as well.

Not only is that morally hideous but also extremely illegal. Hope it was a joke, if not.....
