Thought I would mention that I put one of these together on Tuesday. Be prepared for loads of tiny screws and bolts - you need tiny fingers to get into the recesses. By the time I had finished I was exhausted, my back was killing and the air was blue. I have sworn never to get one of these again.

These are inferior to the plastic ones in my opinion.

They don't have any crossbeams so they are a bit wobbly, and they are a pain to set up compared to the push-fit plastic.

They will definitely hold more weight than the plastic ones when it's evenly spread but unless you really need that, the plastic ones actually feel more rigid and less flimsy, as crazy as that sounds.

Would you say that 'heavy duty' ones often posted would be better? They're around £23 from Ebay sellers so more expensive (but hardly breaking the bank).
Be careful with these, i bought the same from Homebase and the box was missing brackets. Turned out the whole batch was missing parts. They had problem last year with this brand. The instruction say 4 brackets but they only supply 2. Luckily the lady in home base just gave me some out of another box before removing all the stock from the storefront
oos at my two local stores, although it shows them as having them in stock ..
They have had stock in my local branch and still cancelled my order
I bought this when it was a tenner. Bit flimsy whilst building it up but once I attached it to the garage wall it's solid. Worth the money IMO.

I don't know. This one looks really flimsy whilst under construction but once (eventually) you have it all together it seems fairly sturdy. I don't think I would risk too many heavy things on it though. I have fairly little fingers to get in and screw all the nuts up but I think anyone with larger hands would have a problem. I guess it would be overcome by using pliers but you still need to start all the nuts off which has to be done by hand.
How much do these weigh? Wondering if I can carry it a mile or so home.
it wont let me hit check out with home delivery, is it c and c only now?
looks flimsier than Britney Spears kecks
