    Watched it recently on NowTV. It sort of left me cold. TBH, you could just as well skip the first 8 episodes & simply watch the last two. Maybe the long winded build-up will be worth it for the next series but what's the betting they cancel it on the grounds of cost? They did exactly that for the brilliant Raised By Wolves so nothing's off limits these days.

    An absolutely ridiculous assertion that you could simply watch the final two and have any sort of investment in the characters, their arcs or the unfolding story......you have to get invested in characters for pay offs otherwise it's hollow CGI nonsense.

    Paddy Considine was brilliant as Viserys, probably the best character in the show and his arc was actually spread over the first 8 episodes (ironically)

    I’ll wait for all the seasons in one set. By the time that comes around the original GoT set in 4K might have hit my bite point too
