At 99p each, these will keep you going for a while.

Amazon have probably reduced these in competition with Sainsburys, which starwarsclark highlighted in his thread.

Thanks OP, that's the entirety of ASOIAF now on my kindle.

Excellent thanks got the first one a while ago for 99p and been waiting for the rest to drop so I could get them.

All of them? Annoying having just spent £3.50 ish a book only a couple weeks back.

Glad I waited after seeing the Sainsbury's offer!

Starwarsclark's post didn't mention Amazon in the title when I posted this.

For 99p who wouldn't be interested in a book about playing musical chairs in a loo?

fab :-) couldnt get the sainsburys app to work on my phone but already had kindle :-) thanks x

This happened to me and the mods didn't believe me, it was the reason why I stopped posting deals

Anyone can change their entry to include a later one or change it altogether and then the later one gets removed

I'm sorry for you

Ha! No worries. At the end of the day, UKHD heat doesn't actually mean anything. It's easy enough to prove though. You'd just check the time of Starwarsclark's post #33 on his thread to the time that I posted this thread.

Hot! Bought the whole set.

It's first mentioned on post #27, about a quarter of an hour before this thread was posted. The initial post wasn't modified until a little after your deal was posted, though.

But it's fine, I guess there's nothing wrong with having a separate thread for each retailer. It happens quite regularly with other deals.

Nicely done, glad you posted it separately; personally I do not care about the degrees, to me this place is about deals not how great you are.

Absolutely. The more people that buy the books in whatever format they want, the better.

Heat for you and the Sainsbury's guy, great deal. Worth noting that the price is for each book individually and not the collections such as Book 3 complete and Book 5 complete, both of which come in two parts making the series 7 books so far

Thanks a bunch, picked up all 7.

It will take a degree of commitment to get through the whole collection, but a hugely enjoyable one. I went back and reread them when I first heard about HBO making the TV show and I reckon it took six months (I only read about an hour a day, I'm not a 'Hodor').

People criticize the later books, but I reckon that's only because the first couple are so utterly brilliant.

Head added, brilliant price. Just to stir things up, shouldn't all eBooks be this price a couple of years after publication........

I'm with you there. Personally my limit for an ebook is £3.99. I'm addicted to ereaderiq, which I use to notify me when a book has dropped in price. You put in how much you're willing to spend and it'll send you an email when it does.

Great deal - I've only bought ebooks from Google play before, so time to download the kindle app. Happy hours on the loo here I come!

Heat added. The perfect price.

Am I right in thinking that there are only five books so far? I got this when it was a deal a while back: amazon.co.uk/Gam…DEG - is that all of them?
Thanks

Yes, so far Martin has only written five books. You have them all.

Just make things a bit more confusing though, books 3 and 5 are split into two books each.

Ordered. Heat added. Thanks Op

Awesome. Have them in paperback but have been wanting them on Kindle for ages! Have some HEAT!

Thanks, that is exactly what was confusing me! Makes it worse having the whole collection on my Nook too, as it's tricky to work out where you are in the series. Excellent stuff though.

Thanks OP, collection completed!

Super hot. Kindle's been a disappointment to me so far (apart from the ability to change the font size). I much prefer paperbacks with their nice covers, warm smell, and CHEAPER prices! But at a pound a book, I'm a convert.

Now if we could just get Feist, Erikson, Jordan, Hobb, etc. at a pound a pop...

I folded... got the whole lot... cheers OP.

Thanks for the heads up. Purchased them all.

Perfect, thank you. Just completed my collection :-)

Got all 7, many thanks.

Thanks!

thanks

Very hot. All 7 bought.

Bought all 7. Boom. Love the TV show so will either wait or read at TV pace. Can't go wrong at a pound a pop. First books I've bought since buying my Kindle when it was £10 off for the day and a Hot deal on here.

Can anyone confirm whether or not this edition contains fixes to typos and other mistakes? I've read excerpts on the display Kindles in my local Waterstones and there were page after page of errors including words with random spaces in between them. So, instead of something like "Ned Stark swung his sword" you'd get "N ed Sta rk swun g his sw or d".

I looked it up online, some people say they have this others don't. Having said that, at a quid a pop, it's probably worth a punt.

Buy it and download it and if you get the errors you can easily get an immediate refund - I think the option is in the kindle account settings. There's no need to contact customer services - you can do it online - although I think you have to "return" the ebook within 7 days and of course it gets automatically removed from your kindle when you next sync it.
