Game Of Thrones Monopoly Board Game
How to Play
Each player starts the game with 1500 Monopoly Dollars.

Who goes first? Each player rolls both dice, the highest roller takes the first turn.

On your turn roll both dice and move your token clockwise around the board the number of spaces shown on the dice.

Take action depending on which space you land on. So, if you pass the Go space, collect 200 Monopoly Dollars from the Bank or if you land on the Go to Jail space, move directly to Jail and do not collect 200.

When you finish your move and action, pass the dice to the player on your left.

Trade, buy or sell with other players.

Be the only player left in the game after everyone else has gone bankrupt.

Very contentious pastime - at least half of the players wont accept the end of the game

This is the older model of the game btw, which for some GoT fans may be a good thing

Seen this one for about that price in TK maxx. Not seen newer one anywhere cheaper atm. This one is also 16.67 on ebay
I know I say this every time for these sort of Monopoly boards, but the 'free parking' square really annoys me!

What, the game or the show?
Still waiting for the "pr2thej" special edition starring me and my friends. Everything else has been done.

The 'allo 'allo theme?
I've played this. It started out fun, but half way through everyone stopped following the rule book and by end nothing made sense and we all just wanted it finished.

Was a complete waste of time.
What did you expect? I'm baffled by Monopoly's popularity - it's as if they have a "monopoly" on board games since every deal on here goes hot no matter what crappy version.

Do yourself favours and check out some tabletop playthroughs/reviews for some modern board games and try something new this Christmas. Put Monopoly in the bin and forget about it.

Whilst I agree in principle, Monopoly is immensely popular.
I'd rather play a decent euro game any day but most people think they are too complicated or d&d type affairs. Hence the continued popularity of traditional board games
